Everything we ordered was delicious. The sausage and ribs were our favorites. It’s really hard to impress either of us when it comes to ribs and they did it. They were falling off the bone and so juicy. We will definitely be back

My first time making it to Smoke Bayou and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I had the 3 meat special: 4 ribs, leg quarter, and sausage with 2 sides (aka as i called it the big back special lol) my sides were Mac and cheese and baked beans. They were delicious.
The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. Customer service was great.

Was in the mood for some southern bbq, and this hit the spot! Split one of the combos with others so we could each sample more. As I read in other posts, the ribs fell off the bone; the chicken and sausage were also fantastic! Location wasn't anything fancy, but certainly somewhere I would recommend others try and would revisit myself.

LISTEN, food was NOT what I expected! It was seasoned, juicy, and flavorful. Our order was messed up - ordered wings in two flavor but they didn’t get it right. The oxtails - EXPENSIVE; ease up on the smokey flavor bc it made the gravy too salty. Mac and other sides was a hit! BUUUUT the customer service sucked so bad! Likeeeeee I spent $100 HERE, can I get a thank you? Welcome to our business? We appreciate the support?!?! Something!!! That was the worse part - did I enjoy the food? Yes! The customer service experience will always outweigh the cost or even food quality sooo yeah, that has to be better! I find that many black owned businesses lack that - WE want to support BUT something lacks one way or the other. Pls fix! I’d love to support again.
Staff is always kind and courteous!! I’ve visited twice over the last 3 months for ribs in the afternoons but they were out. I Finally got some Saturday and man they tasted totally different. They were huge and meaty but ZERO flavor almost like they were boiled then smoked for a few minutes. Dirty rice and yams bland, baked beans and Mac n cheese were good. I’ve eaten here for years and am a bit taken back. Hopefully by moving in to a new location may bring the flavor back to the ribs…I’ll be sure to try again once you guys move!!

My Gawd! Finally a menu in BR that isn’t hinged to seafood!!! Everytime I pass thru the city I pull up to support Smoke Bayou. Each time I’ve tried something new. The oxtails and rice (5/5) had the right balance of flavor and spice. The brisket, although a little less trimmed, was super tasty (4/5) - would be a 5 with bbq sauce and a Hawaiian roll. The cheeseburger on toasted bread was just okay(3/5). The sides are all good (4/5). Placed my order online and picked it up; took about 20 minutes. Geaux get you sum o’dat Smoke Bayou!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my mom! The chicken was deliciously smoked, and the rib sandwich was tender and juicy. The mac and cheese was yummy like Velveeta. The smoked cabbage was a winner all day long. My only negative (if you could call it that) was the potato salad might have been a bit too mustard heavy. My mother said, "Kendrick Lamar would disagree." 😂 Will visit again.
Idk what kinda day people who didn’t rate this place top notch was having but as a person who is very picky about food I truly enjoyed everything I got I picked the 4 meat platter and everything was amazing nice flavor excellent cook….the down side is please start making y’all own sauce I know the sauce they sent me home with is not your own and the food is to good not to have it’s on sauce….i also saw a post that said the sides wasn’t good THATS A LIE the sides are amazing now I’m mad I didn’t order extra sides I should’ve took pics but I already started eating the food I will come again….the wait time is a little long but worth it

Got the 4 meat nachos for the first time today, and holy cow, is it not only delicious, but I've never had nachos where couldn't eat the whole plate, this plate weighs 5 pounds. I almost need new clothes
