Food and cocktails were excellent!. I had the steak and frites and the Roasted carrots, My husband had the gumbo and the meatballs. Food was phenomenal and our cocktails were top-notch. He had an old-fashioned made with Four Roses and I had the Sazerac. We will definitely be back.

The food was really good. Chef knows what he is doing!!!
We were there for restaurant week, so if the items are in the regular menu, they need to be.

A friend and I dropped in during happy hour. The drinks were great (and strong)! We has the French 75, Whiskey Sour, and an Old Fashioned. We also had the crab cakes, grazing board, brussels sprouts, bread pudding, cheese board. The crab cakes were delicious and they didn't skimp on the crab! The boards were satisfying as well. The brussels and bread pudding were delicious. We ordered the tomato toast, but it was lacking. The toast alone was good, but the tomato topping was bland and underwhelming.

The host was rude , the Waiter was rude . I was told I could use the table but literally had an hour to eat cause they had another table coming , and the waiter took forever . They changed the menu the chef everything I was told this is not a Spanish restaurant anymore however it is showing as a Spanish restaurant when you look it up even the decoration still the same . I was so disappointed with the changes and the new personal and food , the food was not good I’m gonna leave it at that . I’m sorry but won’t be coming back and I really use to like this place

Exquisite. The price puts it a bit above casual dining unless you've got disposable income. We came in a large group so we got to sample a lot of the menu and everything was sublime. Attached photo is of the juniper cocktail o got. It tasted very pleasantly like a Christmas tree.

We went to Solera's to try the new menu that we had heard about since they are now open on Sunday for Brunch. The appetizers were on point. We had the Fried Green tomatoes with the spicy crawfish sauce, bacon wrapped dates, and flat bread with shredded Copa. The flat bread was more pronounced than the Copa....meaning a bit more of the meat would have given the 5 star rating on this dish. Over all the appetizers were good. The entrees were all good that were on the brunch menu. We, all 4 of us loved the food. However, the service needs improvement
we had a bottle of cava rose , it was cool but needed to be cooler so I asked for a bucket with ice , the server told Me the marble tower would do the job so we didn't say anything more. (It didn't increase the temperature as needed) We decided to order a second bottle to go with our entrees but it was half way through entrée so we asked bartender that was cleaning tables at the time to check on the Rose we had requested. Server began clearing table after brunch but a gentleman distracted her (apparently someone she new) and they appeared to have a discreet disagreement. When she got back on track she redirected attention to us but began desert offerings with items left on table from entrees. The bill was just over $300 and we left $50 instead of the $60 as a tip. Hopefully the management will look into staff efficiency a little better to improve service. The bartender was cleaning tables and assisting wait staff in between. The wait staff (two people) had only a few tables. (5 tables on our arrival and 2 tables upon leaving) -- Will return but for the dinner menu instead.

The meatball shawarma sandwich was sooo flavorful and fresh. We will definitely be back for that! I also loved the wine selection and the different appetizers we ordered. Can’t wait to come back to try more!

Went for brunch after church. Was impromptu and couldn’t be any more perfect. The menu had a wide variety of choices, making me go back and forth between somewhat healthy (Avacado Toast) to hearty (double cheeseburger with a fried egg on top). Since I had never dined for brunch, I chose hearty and it was amazing! I’d put Solera’s brunch up there with the best I’ve had in Baton Rouge. The Chimes, Mason’s, and even Juban’s. Plus you know it’s legit when you spot other well known (to remained unnamed) restauranteurs enjoying a meal with their family.

The food was delicious, the combination of the knowledge of our waitress and her eagerness to please was great, and the food came out fairly fast. Had a frozen version of an old fashioned (Cold Fashioned) and it was a perfect recommendation for a lighter version of an old fashioned on a warm day. 5 stars! Will go back!

They just got a new chef and menu. We had the cheese board and the pork rind as appetizers both taste yummy. I ordered the redfish and carrots the waitress acted as though the large plates would be enough for 2. Nope not at all. My husband didn't enjoy his meal. He ordered the pork ribeye that was over cooked and dry. As for as the atmosphere i rated it low because it seemed small stark and crowded. Tables were close together so it felt like we were competing in conversation with the table next to us. Overall food was really tasteful my husband has no interest in going back and well im on the fence only because despite the negatives the food was good.
