Look we really really love it here. Been coming here since I was a kid! But something is up with the French fries for the last year. Like the oil has changed and they are just not crisping up. Or the oil is not being changed enough. They always taste soggy and old even if we ask for a fresh batch. Hopefully this can be fixed! We love yall!

The food is usually fine. HOWEVER, trash service will sour an experience every time. This is the second time I have had a service issue at this location. You will not get a chance for a third. Do NOT order curbside delivery at this restaurant. The restaurant was empty. There is a window that looks out to see who is in Curbside parking. It’s printed on the receipt. I honestly wouldn’t be so upset about it if THREE EMPLOYEES had not seen me sitting there and walked away. Do not offer a service if you are too lazy to perform. I’ll be taking my business to Smoke Bayou from now on.

We have eaten at this particular Sonny’s barbecue restaurant many times and it always is great! Anytime we are in Baton Rouge, and we have time to run and go eat. That’s usually the first place we think of. A lot of times we bring leftovers home and sometimes we purposefully order more just to bring home to eat later on in the day
