Superior Bar & Grill MidCity

Superior is our go to favorite! We are there quite often. This time we went there was a concert at the Texas Club and it seems like the whole restaurant was everyone pregaming and eating so it was super loud. It usually isn't that packed and loud, it's a rare occurrence. The staff did such a good job at managing the chaos, and the food came within a reasonable time. Mauricio came by to say hi, as we are regulars and he knows how my husband likes his drinks. He always goes above and beyond. We will be back...probably next week...and the next... you get the picture :)

While I have dined at this location many times over the years, this was one of the worst experiences I have had there. I made a reservation but it was forgotten/not planned for by the host/team; therefore, we were jammed into this corner of the restaurant where my fiancé had to sit in the flow of walking traffic. He was being a great sport about it but the seating arrangement disrupted our dinner multiple times — causing a terrible ambience and experience overall. Our server, Eunice, was kind but seemed to have forgotten about our table after a 10 top was seated..which resulted in poor service. And lastly, it was so packed that you had to practically yell to have a decent conversation. We spent over $200+ on our dinner for 6 but felt the overall service, ambience, experience were not worth that. I would not recommend this location for many reasons.

Great food, great service, great environment! We were here for lunch, and the service was quick without rushing us. Most of their portions are huge!

Food was excellent and the service was beyond great. It was quite noisy. Of course we will return.

Hands down best Mexican food and atmosphere in Baton Rouge.

Probably the best Tex-Mex in Baton Rouge, but hard for me to enjoy a margarita served in styrofoam. When I asked for a glass they brought a water glass. Wish they were more environmentally conscious. Shouldn’t have to ask for a glass instead of go-cup—especially for a $20 drink.

As always, Superior Grill did not disappoint. The food, beverages, and service are great! The atmosphere is lively and upbeat, so it's a bit noisy, but this is to be expected. Prices have risen, which seems to be the case everywhere. Highly recommended.

While Superior Lafayette is home... We had the best experience at Superior BR MidCity. Service, Food and Atmosphere was FANTASTIC 🫶🏼🫶🏼

It was all delicious. Very busy on Mother's Day but everyone was working hard. No problems at all

The food is always excellent! We sampled things from the brunch menu and the lunch specials and both were perfect.

I love the fact that Superior trademarked its signature superior salad and has no description underneath it. That means it's just that good. And it was.

We love superior grill for a fun and festive dinner out. Best margarita you'll ever drink. Service is amazing too. Fun live music Monday - Thursday. Love this place !!!!
