Superior is our go to favorite! We are there quite often. This time we went there was a concert at the Texas Club and it seems like the whole restaurant was everyone pregaming and eating so it was super loud. It usually isn't that packed and loud, it's a rare occurrence. The staff did such a good job at managing the chaos, and the food came within a reasonable time. Probably the best Tex-Mex in Baton Rouge, but hard for me to enjoy a margarita served in styrofoam. When I asked for a glass they brought a water glass. Wish they were more environmentally conscious. Shouldn’t have to ask for a glass instead of go-cup—especially for a $20 drink.
As always, Superior Grill did not disappoint. The food, beverages, and service are great! The atmosphere is lively and upbeat, so it's a bit noisy, but this is to be expected. Prices have risen, which seems to be the case everywhere. Highly recommended.
