I have had cupcakes from the west coast and the east coast and now trying what the south has to offer. I am a huge fan of another cupcake establishment because of their flavor of cupcakes, but I wanted to give Sweet Wishes a try. Let me dissect: Location: It is in a strange location - an office building - so it is not that easy to spot out when you are driving (you must Google Map it). I was told that the owner of the cupcake shop is the owner of building (that also has a salon, etc), so that make sense. I would probably open up a favorite shop of mine in a building I own. Service: The service is great very one-on-one, since it is not a very busy shop. Ambiance: It is a perfect location to cozy up with your favorite someone, a quiet place to read or a place to plug in your laptop to work. The aromas are quite lovely! Prices: The prices are pretty good for cupcakes...not too expensive, where you do not want to buy more than one and not too inexpensive where you are like - "what??, why is it so cheap?? they must have cheapened out on quality" Quality: Since I am still favorable to another cupcake shop in town, I have to say, this could be my second favorite in town. The cupcakes are moist and fluffy (as they should be) and the frosting is not too excessive nor are they too sweet that you felt like you just drank a cup of sugar. Order a cupcake with a cup of coffee to complete your cupcake experience! The only reason why I gave a 4-star is because I have another favorite in town.

The first time I went there a few years ago,they had the best cupcakes I had ever tasted. I went back 2 years ago and had bad customer service. Decided to give them another try and these cupcakes taste like cornbread or even worse. Maybe the baker was having a bad day and we bought 3 different kinds. I am not going back. I'll bake my own.

Very good cupcakes here! They serve the ones that taste like real mini cakes rather than those flight/fluffy cupcakes you can buy at the grocery store. They server many different unique flavors and are very friendly. I've only been twice but my girlfriend seems to really enjoy them so I will keep going as I like it too. Definitely worth the trip

Well, I must say that the store was extremely cute and somewhat inviting. However, the girl behind the counter made it very unpleasant. I understand that when a business post hours for operation that these are their opening hours. They (cashier, clerk, waitress, or whomever!) should never look at you with disgust because it is 20 minutes to closing time! She never said, "Hello" or gave any welcoming jester when we walked through the door. She was to busy looking at the clock to make sure we left on time. Btw, the we left the store 15 minutes to closing. We were only in the store for 5 minutes. I will never go there again based on the service I received. If you want someone's business or would like to earn a paycheck while working in the service industry.. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.... be polite, welcoming, pleasing, and work with a smile on your darn face!

the cupcakes are nothing special. No special flavors, fillings, or combinations. Most of the time they are out of stock. Tried a red velvet and a chocolate by recommendation and they were both stale. Very disappointing, The cupcake shop above the Londoner is waaaaaay better!

Best cupcakes in Baton Rouge. Their baker is amazing. Whoever said that their cupcakes are average must have ordered the wrong one. Red velvet, key lime, white chocolate raspberry, and carrot cake are delicious!! Some have a filling in the middle which is awesome. Their icing isn't too sweet and they aren't too expensive. Definetly five them a try!

I'm no cupcake person, so I really can't tell you what I liked or didn't like. And it doesn't help that I can't really tell if something is too sweet or no sweet enough (a flaw of mine, but not disadvantageous!) but what I had was ok. I wasn't very impressed. It didn't have that BANG I was expecting. I mean, it was just blah. There wasn't much to pick from, but I can't even remember what I got... that should be able to tell you something. But, my boyfriend seemed to really like it, so again, it's all about preferences. Well, at least I caught a glimpse of Rockit Science Ad Agency located in the same building =) ok, I just saw the sign, but it still counts lol. The girl who helped us was very sweet though, if that counts =)
