I ordered a King cake from them and it was $20! The king cake was very good. It was baked very well and was fluffy and not dense like some king cakes are. It wasn’t too sweet and did not have an extreme amount of cinnamon.

When I first drove past the bakery I hardly noticed it was open. It seemed dark, but there was an “open” sign… so I wandered in to check it out. The lady who was working was very delightful. She was kind and did not rush me….everything you would want/expect from a good hometown bakery.I purchased a king cake, which I thought was fairly priced compared to other great ones I have eaten. I had a feeling it was going to be great when she asked if I minded waiting a few minutes… I assumed so she could go decorate it… she returned less than 5 minutes later with a beautiful, large cake.Fast forward to when I got home and opened the box: It smelled wonderful and tasted even better!! The bread was soft, fluffy, and not dry (which all king cake lovers know is hard to get ‘just right’)… the filling tasted great and there was just enough icing not to overwhelm the taste of the cake itself. Hands down the freshest, softest king cake I have ever eaten… and I’ve eaten a lot in my 40 years. Bravo!!
