Last night, my family and I went here to celebrate my mom’s 50th birthday. We were ecstatic to patron this restaurant. The Manager Beth was extremely racist and distasteful. This was the worse dining experience I have ever had. I have fine dined all over the world and this was by far, the most unprofessional an exuded zero hospitality! Beth, blatantly lied to me in my face and told me that another party had reserved the table that my party requested to be sat at. My party and I stayed, purposely, to see if this alleged “party” was coming to sit at the table we requested to sit at. No one ever showed up. She also told me she gave this alleged party a 30min grace period after only having just told me that she could only give my party 15min. Do you see how rude??? Did I also mention we had to SEAT OURSELVES at the high top that Beth claimed was “the only table to she had available to accommodate my party”? She never came over to address my table, offer any apology or show any type of concern for the lack of order, professionalism, and outright racism that was very obvious. Beth should in no way be running a restaurant because she lacks the ability to lead. She also lacks professionalism. She is incapable of promoting quality customer service! She is rude to her staff and is promoting a negative culture in the restaurant. The only two people who made the world of difference to this otherwise nightmare of a dining experience, was our sweet server, Kayla and the assistant manger, Fred. Those two went above and beyond to try and correct the situation. The apologized on Beth’s behalf and truly exemplified what customer service and hospitality should look and FEEL like! I will definetely be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Waited 30 minutes for my To Go Food that was ready so they could figure out if my old 20’s were real, my sandwich was soggy by the time they decided my money was indeed real and was offered no apology nor eye contact

Since when is having old money a problem??

And why did it take some long to determine they were real? Has no one seen money printed pre-1990?

Why was I treated like a nuisance for having older money? What is going on??

asked for a ommelt.. a hour later still didnt get it ..and asked to order off the menu they said its the same on the buffet

A great experience. Made reservation for full table service. Taylor was great. The food was 10/10.

Great food and service

Very unhappy with this place and never even got to go. My husband called around 11 AM in the morning to make a reservation for me and my friend group of 21 people. The first lady that answer the phone was super sweet and said that she would Have the manager call me back around 5 PM to discuss it with us, And mind you, my husband asked if we should be looking for another place To eat at if it sounded like something they could not do. She insured my husband that they could most likely do it because the place is really slow and she would have the manager call. At around 7 PM My husband called back since we had not heard from them and another lady made it very clear that the manager is never there, and she doesn’t know when he will be there, And that they would not be able to accommodate us. So I definitely wouldn’t Recommend going to this place if you have a large party because they don’t want your money.

One of the best kept secrets in East Baton Raloujah. A crime filled parish, but this place is a safe haven.

After 5 you can get the chargrilled oysters, which are a must.

The lamb chops today were excellent but the ones on previous events were even better cooked perfectly medium to medium well. Served over a molasses sauce and that salad !! Don’t miss out !!!

The Tallulah burger was Excellent!! Perfectly cooked medium well and SO juicy!

The soda came from the bar and had a blended flavor from multiple flavor brands coming from the same spigot? I don’t know. I’ll get a red wine next time to fix that.

Simone & Jessica provided exceptional service. They were attentive to our needs and very helpful with the small issue we encountered. Drinks & ambiance top tier!

Caitlin was our server. She was very pleasant always smiling and had wonderful recommendations for us. I will definitely go back.

This experience was so pleasant, I will be returning again. The menu options were outstanding. I ordered lamb chops as my appetizer and red fish as my main course -the party in mouth with each bite!!! 10 out 10 recommend Tallulah

Damon was genuinely one of the greatest bartenders I've ever had. From his energy to his drink making skills everything was top notch and I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town!

The atmosphere is nice. Sometimes, the chatter in the bar area can get kind of loud and chatty, but we sat at one of the back tables, which decreased it some. For the appetizer, we had the lamb lollipops, which were delicious. Entrees were the burger Marriott and the seared scallops. The burger was tasty, and the fries were good. The scallops could've had a touch longer for searing. The risotto was delicious. A great dish in all. The pecan pie was exactly like I like it - more filling than pecans on top. The pecans tasted like they had been roasted, but some had more of a charred taste. All in all, a great dining experience. Would return.

This was not advertised as buffet only. We were sat in a separate conference room. Overpriced and under delivered.

Very disappointing. Service was slow and inattentive. They seemed annoyed when asked for help and/or service. Food was more than bland yet price was more than premium. Waste of time and money, unfortunately
