We went here for breakfast.
The breakfast plates were large enough for two people to split. It was $12 for the juevos con jamon or eggs and ham.
The beans had that manteca flavor !! Yum !!
I highly recommend the Chilaquiles, which were $15. Again, it was enough for two people to split. Next time I will get the crèma and the queso fresco on the side. The green or verde sauce which is what I got, and recommend, was excellent....

I have been to many taco places over the years in Baton Rouge, and I can say that IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, Taqueria El Catrina is the best street tacos I have ever had! I intend to come here now as my new taco joint when I'm fiending for tacos. I ordered a variety of tacos and all of them were just spot on bomb!!
