The bookstore is a great place to unwind from your day and have a great conversation with your friends or to make new ones. Staff is always friendly and professional. The owner Pam is great and is a blast to chew the fat with. The choice of alcohol is on a higher level, and the craft cocktails are in a class all their own. Good selection of craft beers and domestics. Definitely try one of the house specials, you won't be disappointed. Great music is always playing and set to a nice level where you can still have a conversation with someone. A definite go-to if you are between Jefferson & I-12.

Meh experience. Bartender was good. Prices at bar were good however, patrons at bar were weird and highly judgemental. In addition, was told I couldn't use my doctor approved medication at the bar. Unacceptable. 3/5

Always wanted to try this bar and finally went on a week night. The drinks were very good and well priced. Not many people in the bar on a Thursday night which was nice. Really enjoyed the overall literary theme. They offer a monthly book club over drinks if you’re interested in that.
