The Bulldog, Baton Rouge

The Bulldog in Baton Rouge is the kind of place you walk into once and immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming with a great mix of locals and visitors all enjoying themselves in equal measure. The drink selection is seriously impressive with a wide range of beers on tap that caters to every taste imaginable. The food is hearty and delicious and pairs perfectly with a cold drink after a long day. The staff behind the bar are friendly efficient and clearly know their craft which makes every visit a pleasure. This is one of those classic spots that never disappoints and I always leave with a big smile on my face.

The food and drinks were good. They even have a couple THC drinks (I didn't try any, but it was cool they had the option). Ordering was weird though. You have to order drinks separately from food, only at the bar. And only order food from a QR code menu and you have to pick it up from the kitchen window.

I particularly love this place being so casual and feels like my local pub. You can bring your dog since they love those best creatures in the world 😊 they help you to pick your beer by letting you to taste many many of them. I didn’t try many food options but the ones I tried were ok . We are not there for five star food are we ??

Food order wrong. Raspberry Chipotle sauce was Raspberry salad dressing. Fries weren't cooked. No to go cups. Bartender didnt care about my complaints. Walked away while was talking to him & signing my check. Came here 2 or more years ago. We ate the best southwestern eggrolls w Raspberry Chipotle sauce.
We will never eat or drink there again

Great place to bring your dog! They had hundreds of beers on tap and the outside seeting venue was pretty and the had tons of dog bowls for your dog to drink water! I bet this is a cool place on game days.

Great place for drinks and vibes. Richie is the best!
