What is this? In my Kevin Hart voice. These little pieces doesn't even equal to a half of a fish. If you get two pieces for $20 on the regular menu how does a child plate not get at least a small whole fish. Thankfully we did red beans and rice so it was enough for her meal. But well stick with Willie's down the street.

Please Open the designated spots for hanficap parking. Handicap parking is limited, yet several spots close to the building were blocked off when I was last there. That parking lot was a mess (Friday night).
The food was fabulous. The boudin balls made for an extremely tasty appetizer. They were served with a delicious dip that was quite unique.
The hush puppies were crispy and very light, well worth purchasing. The shrimp etoufe was delightful and cooked perfectly. The portion size was extremely generous.

Had the worse experience of my life this evening at Chines. East. Anybody who knows me can tell you that Chimes is one of my favorite places to go. I always order blackened chicken with red beans and rice . The chicken wasn’t blackened . If it was there wasn’t enough seasoning on it. The rice was hard. After the male waitress indicated that the chicken was actually grilled, the manager said it was blackened . She had a horrible attitude. She proceeded to tell me she’s been at Chimes 10 years. I been going to Chines longer than you been there so what does that mean .

If it weren’t for the lack of attention and terrible attitude from the managers here, this would be a 5 star review.
Went here for lunch today with my friend, and thanks to our server - Ms. Derwin - had the best meal experience ever. We were beyond impressed by her level of service and creative solutions to our food and drink requests, in addition to her shining personality and humor. When we learned that she has only been a server for 2 months, we were blown away by her level of hospitality with so little experience. At the end of our meal, we wanted to make sure management was aware that Derwin is one of their best assets. We asked the hostesses to speak to a manager on our way out, and had to wait ridiculously long. Managers on duty kept avoiding us (it was NOT busy in the restaurant), clearly not caring about their customers’ feedback. When we kept waiting and insisting on speaking to them, we finally got our way - after multiple asks, and waiting for what seemed like 30 minutes.
Well, all a sudden 3 managers appeared at the front of the restaurant to appease us. We spoke very highly of their “new” hire, and gave our glowing feedback about Ms. Derwin and her potential in this industry. Our comments were met with zero enthusiasm…just apathy and obligatory “thank you”s as we walked out. The managers were rude, and clearly do not prioritize clientele NOR the encouragement/development of new employees. They could learn a thing or two about true hospitality from Derwin honestly.
Seems like a rotten working culture that left a bad taste on our mouths, and we can only hope that Ms. Derwin is appreciated in her table tips - because clearly she won’t be getting recognized by her bosses.

Called 20 minutes before closing to place a pickup order so i wasn’t last minute and 2 times no answer!! disgusting if u don’t wanna work don’t be there u guys are in operating hours u can still answer and take my order! U lost my buisness won’t ever eat here again!
