Being from Florida this was my first time experiencing the restaurant. It was recommended by friends and I must say it was a great experience. My family and I had a variety of dishes. I had the boudin egg roll which were delicious along with the Shrimp jambalaya. My wife had the chicken club and red beans and rice which are outstanding. My mother had the catfish and shrimp plate which is huge portions. The adult drinks are great with a huge selection. If I get the opportunity to visit I will definitely make a stop back. Love the atmosphere during football season although I’m not a Saints fan lol. But highly recommend giving this place a try.
Horrible service staff front hostess staff very rude if you don’t like your job quit
A visit to Chimes is a must when we are home in Louisiana for a visit. The food is creative and very well seasoned. Make sure you go with an appetite so you can enjoy your food in the moment. Great service and well made cocktails!
Great hostess. We were seated upstairs. Love the atmosphere. It was my family of four. Everything tasted great. The spinach and artichoke dip was the best we had, in some time. The fried shrimp and fish were hot, fresh, and good. The salad with blackened salmon was good. Our waitress Meghan was phenomenal. I definitely recommend to visit
Went for Father’s Day so it was pretty packed. We were a party of 11 sat us at a table that could comfortably fit 10.
They seasoned their food very well. My favorite dish is the Spinach and Artichoke dip. It comes with bow tie fried pasta noodles and the pasta tastes exactly like chicken! I kid you not ! Would definitely recommend trying it out!
Best chicken fried chicken I've ever had. Mac n cheese wasn't anything to write home about. friend had oysters she wasnt impressed. Catfish needed seasoning in the breading.
We went to Chimes East for a family celebration of my late husband’s birthday. We registered, making clear that we were a party of 12 adults with 2 small children for a total of 14. We weren’t told that our number was any kind of a problem. We waited over an hour and when seated were told several times that there was a “strict policy” of seating only 12 at a table because it was too difficult for the server. We spoke to the hostess, several servers and the manager, several of whom were very rude. We were forced to seat the older children at a different table, but the same server waited on both tables! This put a damper on the entire night. Here was a time that our whole family needed to be together to celebrate the life of our husband, dad and Paw Paw. This rule makes no sense since the server waited on both tables. Needless to say, this was our last visit to The Chimes.
Staff was polite food was good. My brother ordered a wine and it had some something floating in it. Looked like bits of wash cloth. Bartender tried to make it out that it was okay but finally looked at it and was happy to replace it.

I would gave all stars but because it was a game night, it was not for me i guess that’s why it was a long time for food to come out, a long time to find a place and some of it was cold and not cooked so well… ??
Kid-friendliness: Unless it’s LSU game that day, night i don’t recommend it because of some of the language used by the people watching the game
