We had a great experience, the staff was really friendly even though they were closing up for the day. I asked what pastalaya was, and even though we only ordered gumbo they gave us a container of pastalaya the same size as the gumbo we ordered, to try for free! Extremely generous and the pastalaya was delicious!
I’d go 10/5 stars to prove a point if I could. I met the owner Kathy (Cathy?) at a Mardi Gras parade and she was beyond AH-MAY-ZUH-HING! I love it when business go above and beyond to show their love for the communities they serve. The food is authentic and phenomenal as she is. I’d recommend the sausage and chicken jambalaya with a side of boudin balls. I tad on the spicy side but perfect for me.
