Three people in our party ordered veal picatta. The veal was overcooked for all three of them. The service was great

Our server seemed annoyed that she even had a table, took her forever to even greet us then it seemed she just disappeared then rushed us out

We stopped by with our family while in town. Atmosphere is quaint and nostalgic. Our server was attentive. The food was homemade and delicious. Portions were generous and could be shared between 2 people. Chicken Tenders w fries and Mac and Cheese were offered for the kids.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very disappointing experience. First of all, let me say that the food was good. However, the rest of our experience was not. The first thing we noticed was how awful the chairs are - the leather is ripped up and has holes in it. It took us a while to actually find some chairs that were decent to sit on. We mentioned something about the chairs to our server - Hunter. His response was that it was just wear and tear, it seemed like we were sitting just fine in them. Next he filled our glasses with ice water. One of our guests had asked for a glass of water with no ice. Hunter's response was that the water was warm and the ice would melt soon. We had to ask him 2 more times before he would bring her a glass of water with no ice. When we were finished eating we all had leftovers. We explained to Hunter that the hotel room we were staying in had a very small mini fridge so we needed small to-go boxes. He came back with 4 large boxes. When we explained again that we needed small boxes he said they did not have any. He said this was the only size they had. One of our guests asked him if that was the type of box we would get if we ordered a to-go dessert. He said - no, it would come in a different container which is smaller. He basically did not want to go back to the kitchen to get smaller containers!! We persisted and he finally came back with 4 small containers which is what we asked for to begin with. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. The owners of this restaurant should be embarrassed at the terrible state that the chairs are in and Hunter obviously needs more training on being a server. On our way out, we spoke with the hostess to express our concerns and were met with a very defensive attitude. We certainly won't come back here and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. In reading other recent reviews, it appears that this is an ongoing issue that is not being addressed.

I had the crème brûlée for dessert and my spouse had bread pudding which was in a unique serving bowl. We both had delicious salads and the yummy bread.

Great food and service every time

Ordered veal piccata. Got chicken. My wife had finished by the time I got the meal I ordered. When server was clearing the table, part of my wife's salad fell on my slacks. I was raised at the original Village. No comperison. Just a faded memory of a much better restaurant.

This was my first time eating here. My son and friend came from TN to visit. We had dinner there for about 2 hours. They ordered 7 appetizers for 5 people, unbelievable! Which they ALL were good. Drinks were beautifully made. The entrée were good. I had Lasagna. I wasn't overly pleased with the taste. First time trying FRIED DEVIL EGGS. Ok.
I had it berr at another place. Nevertheless, I ate it all. I was so full. We had lots of fun and met 2 new people. I might eat there again in the future.

Brought my BFF for her birthday dinner here by recommendation of another friend. Was extremely disappointed with this dining experience. We started with the highly recommended Bread in half size which was pretty good. Ordered Beef Arancini as appetizer and it ended up being a Large Meatball with tomato sauce. (No Arborio rice & diced seasonings just a few capers spotted in the ground meat) Ordered the Fish Almondine @ $28 only to be informed it would be tilapia (Cheapest fish you can buy) and if I wanted premium fish it would be an additional cost so, I agreed to the premium selection available. It Arrived and fish tasted of being fried in oil that was overused and the fish was dark brown finish to support what it tasted like. Served on a bed of bland steamed broccoli which appears to have been a frozen product. Oddly the plate had what seemed to be just oil puddled in it instead of a traditional browned butter, lemon, and parsley sauce. The BFF suddenly received a Birthday chocolate mousse but other guest had never been offered a dessert menu so had nothing until asking. Once other desert came birthday person had finished. Basically the only food item that was good was the bread. As for the Fish the ADDITIONAL amount was $10 more!!!! Tipped waitress 20% as she had nothing to do with the food quality even though she did poorly with the dessert option. Respectfully will NOT be returning to this establishment nor recommending it to anyone. - Truly sad as this restaurant has been around for some years and could be as good as it once was with just a little effort.

The steak special (butterflied with seafood stuffing) was very impressive. The eggplant napoleon was good as well. Of course, order the bread! I also loved the crème brûlée dessert. I've been to The Little Village several times and it's always great! My parents really enjoyed their first time there as they live in a small town with no great restaurants.. this was definitely a treat!

Bar service on this night was extremely slow. Order dinks and bread. Bread was delivered promptly but was hard and crispy which is not usual. Should have asked for another. Waiter took order. Still no drinks. Food was delivered at the same time as the drinks. Maybe a second bartender could solve this. New menu has no description of the items being ordered. Could spend a half hour going over the menu with the waiter.

Restaurant was dead. 30 mins to see a waitress, 1 1/2 hrs to get food, “striped bass” taste like it was sitting on the dock in China for three weeks, they cooked my wife's steak wrong TWICE, waitress was wrong about vegetable of the day.....bread was good! Horrible experience. We will NOT go back!
