This is a cool spot for lunch! There is a nice all around view of the patio with lots of natural light. The food is great and the staff is polite. I don’t come to this plaza enough!

The taste and quality of the food was poor

The Patio Tex-Mex Fusion is a welcoming Tex-Mex restaurant located in Baton Rouge.

While the indoor seating is somewhat limited, as the name suggests, they offer just as much outdoor seating as they do indoors. We were greeted promptly, seated immediately during the lunch rush, and provided with menus. It was impressive to see two different staff members assist us before our server arrived; I really appreciated the teamwork among the staff!

For starters, the queso was genuinely cheesy—not runny—and, most importantly, delicious. We sampled two different margaritas: the house frozen and the top-shelf on the rocks. Both were excellent and left us wanting more.

For our main courses, we chose the Birria tacos and the lunch combo fajitas. Honestly, the fajitas were outstanding! The Birria tacos were beautifully presented and larger than any I’ve had before. They contained no fat and had a generous amount of meat, making them delicious, but the fajitas truly stole the show.

Our main server, Alex, was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, but everyone we encountered was friendly. The music featured popular songs that complemented the atmosphere perfectly.

Prices are average for the area, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

First time visiting but really had a great experience. Margaritas were some of the best in the city, especially their standard house margarita. The red white and blue margarita flight was fun and a good value.

Been here several times. Love the food, staff and especially the atmosphere. Its the best place for friend groups. (No yelling at eachother to hear). Love trying the new foods and new drinks! Try the saki martini. Delicious

Sad to write this review because the owner is amazing! We came twice before and the food was great! We came tonight and had a burrito and enchilada. The food tasted inedible and cold. The enchiladas were not even plated pretty, and tasted horrible. It looked like someone just through it on the plate. The kids food was gross too. Please step back up your game again!

Walked up and was told they close in 7 mins, even though the website says they are open for another 47. Drove from walker. Very disappointed. I waited tables for 9 years and we wanted to make our money and just did side work as our guests ate. People are normally pretty polite and dont dilly dally when they come in knowing closing time is soon, and leave a few extra bucks.

Obsessed! The vibes are top-tier! Like Frida Kahlo meets modern lounge. Super friendly and diverse staff. I had the Southwest egg rolls (SO good) and the birria tacos that came with consommé, rice, and beans, chef’s kiss. Bonus? $1.99 margaritas mid-day!

We were treated as if we weren’t even there came got seated gave menus and no one ever came back to the table sat there 20 minutes with my 91 year old Aunt and cousin a couple came in and was seated given menus and water and they returned to take their order and we were still sitting there being ignored we got up and left and went to superior Grill and was treated with up most respect Patio would never see me again that’s probably why there were only 5 people in there on a Saturday
