The Revelry of Baton Rouge

Was there last night, 6/11/25. Was there maybe an hour. Had 1 drink, told $1 drink, bill was $10, Didn’t question it cause that’s average for the drink I order. Tipped $1. Charge this morning was $20. Don’t use your debit cards. Dishonest bartenders. Getting hammered and don’t remember, who’s tab has what on it and don’t care who or what they’re charging.

They discriminate against people with piercings. If you have any face piercing they will not let you in.

Bree Alvarado is the most amazing bartender. Her green tea shots are superior and always put a smile on my face!

Great atmosphere and crowd. Strong drinks and decent vibes. Pretty much a game day necessity, especially when they have a band out back

Bathrooms are always the worst. Musics usually good, drinks on game days are pretty expensive. Nice outside area

I have never seen a more disgusting bathroom in my entire life. The women’s bathroom floor had literal feces laying on the ground. The smell of this place was horrendous! The staff inside with the exception of the bartenders were racist and rude. The DJ with the tattoos was garbage and thought he was Calvin Harris or something. I would not waste your time or money here, you have been warned.

My daughter went last night and purchased one Truly for six dollars for the night . When she checked her bank app the next day she was charged $20. She was given no receipt so we have no way to prove the discrepancy. Apparently this is a common practice at this bar.

Make sure you pay with cash. They will charge $20 for any drink you buy and not give your money back even when the drink you buy is $8!

Great if you like shouting at your friends in a dimly lit concrete box.

Like family The Revelry is in my opinion one of the most laid back and safer places on or near LSU campus. The staff there treat everyone the same and they care about their guest. Great place to go to for game days.

Don’t ever go here. My husband went and used card to buy a single beer. Should be $3-$4 right? Charged $20. Didn’t tell my husband the total and when he went to talk to them to refund it, got told they “couldn’t do anything.” These people are thieves and will steal your money.
