My latte tasted burned (like the coffee was excessively roasted or something was wrong with the machine). Kitchen wasn’t accepting food orders because it was “backed up” even though the place wasn’t even all that busy. Seems like a good spot that is having staffing issues?

Adorable little coffee shop in downton Baton Rouge. Great ombiance when you walk in. You order at the bar and take a number and pick your seat. Every wall and section of this coffee shop is its own uniqueness. The coffee was amazing, the Beignet's are delicious, and the atmosphere is so very cozy. This is a must visit.

This is a great spot for coffee and a snack. The classic beignets and some other flavors are all good. It’s in a nice location downtown with great light and windows.

Coleman, who’s supposedly a “manager”, thought he would toss me my card and become upset when I asked him to HAND me my card just the way i HANDED it to him. respect is free and simple. I usually have a great experience at the vintage but Coleman succeeded in his task so I won’t be back.

Sat down at the bar during happy Hour , Coleman was the bartender at the time . "The Manager" they say Ordered some wings , he threw the card back at me I asked him to give me the card in my hand how he received it , he said " I don't care , can you get out" The service was horrible . I really hope he's not a manager. I will never recommend this place!

This was my 3rd time here, I got seasonal cocktails previously. Coleman was my bartender before and today on this occasion. Intro was okay sitting at the bar but once food was ordered he asked for payment he then got the cc out my friends hand and when he returned the card to my friend he tossed the card across the corner instead of handing the card back. My friend asked him please hand it to me that's not professional, He laughed and said I don't care about that and as my friend said that was rude he asked us to leave and cancelled the order. I will not be coming back here. We left the restaurant and called to speak with management the girl on the phone stated Coleman was the manager on shift today. Then asked who was over him as a supervisor she then stated he was the highest of management. Very disappointing and distasteful.
Enjoying meeting new people and talking with staffParking: Saturday are great for parking.

On the recommendation of our hotel, we hit The Vintage for breakfast on 17 Feb 2024. It was an overall disappointing experience.Food:Croissant and biscuits were tough and chewy like they'd been microwaved. Parfait was mostly yogurt and apples. Avocado was soaked in lemon juice. Poached eggs were overcooked to the point of hard-boiled. All for over $50.Service:The girl who brought out our food wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly or overly interested in customer service either.Atmosphere:Decent vibe, but tables were left dirty and pushed together after large groups left, making seating difficult for more than a few new arrivals.Good points:My husband said the flavors in his breakfast biscuit were okay, and my daughter said the chamomile tea was on point.Maybe it was an off day, but we won't be returning.Vegetarian options: Parfait, grits, pastries
