Was here for the first time on (11/03/2025) and I ordered the two meat platter and got the sliced brisket, sausage, with Mac n cheese, and red beans and rice. The food was meh to be honest. My brisket was dry and a little tough in spots, the sausage was burnt, the Mac n cheese had no real flavor whatsoever, and the red beans and rice were just meh. My parents enjoyed their meal so that’s a plus, luckily they didn’t order the BBQ.

Atmosphere is pretty cool. We were in town for a softball tournament. They sat the whole team in a timely manner and staff was very helpful. Chicken wings were great. Pulled pork was very chunky. A little overpriced in my opinion for the amount of food. But staff was Great.

Finally went. Got brisket sandwich and cup of gumbo. Gumbo tad spicy but still good. Brisket was decent but was served with au jus on side, which was strange to me.

I had a friend coming over to watch the LSU game today. I told her I was going to treat her to some TJ Ribs wings.... went on all day about how delicious they were. I ordered 3 orders and asked for a ranch and blue cheese dip in each. Got home and was so disappointed. Wings were overcooked and dry. Not one box had the dips I requested. None of them had celery either. So I apologized while we choked down my $58.00 purchase. The receipt on the bag clearly stated what I ordered but no one cared enough to get it right. I understand prices have gone up but no excuse for the dried up wings and not getting the order right. Why don't people care anymore?
Came here tonight. Loved it! Server was just Jada. She’s a rockstar. Oh, food’s good too btw.

I have been coming here for YEARS AND YEARS now it would appear that the service is less than desirable. Not sure why service has dropped of so drastically but the girls where cackling in front while we sat down for way to long until I had to tell them to come serve us. No place on earth should treat clients that way. The food was just ok after such poor service..

They no longer offer a rib dish on their lunch menu. Prices are much higher than in the past (yes, all restaurants have raised their prices but theirs are more than most). Our server was clueless. We had to ask several times for simple items that she should have asked if we wanted when she took our order such as condiments for our sandwich which is served dry otherwise and butter for a baked potato that she brought completely bare. The iced tea was the best part of our meal. Although since it was fresh and melted the ice, we had to ask twice for a glass of ice. I will add that the restaurant was virtually empty when we were there so being “busy” cannot be used as an excuse. Our entire table was disappointed that a restaurant we have loved for years was such a let down this time. We will give them another chance due to years of good food and service.
