It something about their food. It is gross. I was so disappointed that I had to pay over $100 for it plus a $25 tip. My waitress was nice but omg the food is gross. Took it home to let my kids try it and even they couldn't stomach it. It went right in the trash. Never again.

In my 30 years of living, my f##### been sleeping on TJ RIBS. Today was my 1st day of trying their smoked baby back ribs and smoked wings. It was smoky, tender, juicy, and flavorful! Catch me here next time with everything on the menu on my plate!#LambChopOnTheGeaux #tjribs #batonrougela #bbq

I loved this place back in da day. NOT SO MUCH NOW!! The appetizers arrived, before our entrees, the loaded baked potato wasn't cooked & the beans were COLD!!! The manager agreed & took the appetizers off & 1/2 off our entire order. Oh, & the waitress was BAD, REALLY BAD!!!!

2 locations in Baton rouge and either one is a must-stop. Wings are still my fave but the 2 meat plate is a stuffer and probably not the best for lunch. [Might need a nap] mmmmmm Can't go wrong with any choice.

So I've set in what I thought was a drive through curbside pick up line for over 30 minutes. The order online pick up says there would be cones that would direct you to the curbside pick up but there are no cones. No one has called me. I've called twice about my order I placed and paid for. Both times I was told they would come out to me but I've seen no one. I'm not impressed. Feeling like I've wasted My time and money. And now 20 minutes later I called again. They said 5 more minutes. Ive seen no one and heard from no one. I eould NOT RECOMMEND!!

Wow what an experience here. The greeting we had received was very welcoming. Now that’s great hospitality here at it’s best. There is nothing better than getting your chops broken because I talk funny ?.We ordered a bottle of red wine to start. The smoked wings are delicious ?. My Uncle and I ordered the rib eyes and $35.00 a pop we were very concerned. Let me tell you it didn’t stand a chance meat so tender you can cut it with a spoon at about 1 1/2 thick great size steak. If your in Baton Rouge definitely check it out. Well worth the price along with a great atmosphere you will not be disappointed.

We were seated immediately. Our appetizers and meals came out quickly. My favorite appetizer, the wings, went over so well with my sister, who had never been there, that she wound up choosing them to be her entree. They are hands down the best wings in Baton Rouge. The wings are very large, very meaty and smoked through with perfection. They also have the absolute best ribs in town. Flavorful, meaty, not full of gristle, and they slide off the bone with minimal effort. Professional and polite service.Kid-friendliness: Even picky kids will enjoy the kid's menu offerings. There's a little jungle gym outside for kids to play. The tables are covered in paper and kids get crayons to color on the table while they wait.

decent food horrible experience. Waiter never came to check in, see the picture of wings we were served in the picture i’ve posted below. couldn’t even tell the waiter about the wing because she never came to check in. it isn't too busy and i’m writing from outside the restaurant from my vehicle. wouldn’t go back again

Google got me messed up. All these review I’m expecting greatness.1burnt end aren’t burnt end. This was the ends of the brisket without being smoked down and fatRendered out .2. baked beans are canned beans with fatty scrambled meat added.3. Worst and slowest service.4. Brisket dry and old5 ribs are sauced before served and not texture (so done this morning I’m sure and sat in steam pan.6. Carrot side is canned and overly sweet with no texture (pecans or enough cinnamon7. took 20mins to get a beer and place was empty.8. Corn muffin dry and burnt9. Ranch isn’t even homemade10. So expensive with out backing it up.I don’t do bad reviews often but this one deserves itLooked great tasted like leftovers

brought a HS girls soccer team for dinner after a game and I'm very glad it was paid for with the school credit card ? I had the brisket sandwich and being from Texas feel I am a decent judge of good brisket, I was not disappointed. we also had fried pickles.. YUM! atmosphere is a 4 star because why does every single TV in the place have to be set to the same football game? where we were sitting there were like 4 screens in a row, I mean like touching each other in a row all showing the exact same game, I know there had to be some other sporting event they could have played on a couple of them. but first world problems, I know

If I could give a .5 star, I would. The parking lot was packed and I truly don’t know why. I’m from NC and I’m genuinely not a harsh critic but this place had “legendary” on the menu and I feel this place was legendarily poor. The baked beans were very poor. The loaded baked potato seemed like it was loaded with knock-off brand toppings. The butter and sour cream absolutely had no taste. The appetizer wings were supposed to be 8 but there were only 5-6. The ribs were barely average with no taste of bbq. The waitress, God bless her, kept grabbing my mom’s cup from the top and touching her straw… She was sweet though… I’m not a picky person and this was not anywhere close to what a bbq/rib place should be. I truly don’t no why this place was as full as it was. I would expect as southerners we would know better and have higher standards. Goodness gracious, it was disappointing.

one of Baton Rouge best kept secrets, this place is awesome, with some of the best tasting food around. Not just ribs but so much more. Kid friendly, good service, and love the background music selection.

Very very good BBQ! We got the full rack and it comes with two sides. Our waitress recommended the carrot soufflé (kind of like sweet potato casserole) and sweet potato fries. The biggest plus were the cornbread muffins that are 2 for 50 cents. They are soo good and come with a delicious honey butter. This was the perfect amount of food for my husband and I, and we finished everything (as you can see).I don’t think I’d get the carrot again, but it was fun to try. Everything else id get again, and we’d probably get an additional order of corn bread muffins.
