I was there at 6:30. Wings were ice cold. The young girl was rude. Very different than my experiences 1 year ago. People were attentive before. The last three times my experience has been terrible. This used to be a go to place. Not anymore.

My sister there today just now to get chicken she requested fresh chicken once she got her chicken she tasted every single piece of food in the bag she goes to tell them the food was not fresh at all. He takes the food she has bit off and puts it in grease and gave it back to her! That is not how that go that is not sanitary at all. How many times have they done that. Yall beware because that is cross contamination!

Very disappointed. Ordered red beans that they were aware they had severely burnt and thought it was a smart idea to overload them with salt to attempt to mask the taste. I usually always vouch that this is the best location but not anymore.

Ordered 12 piece wings and large Red bean and rice. I wasn't aware they no longer put sausage in the beans, it's pieces of cut up chicken. If that wasn't bad enough I stirred the beans around to find a small black bug in it. They had maybe 12 red beans in the whole large order, mostly gravy and diced up chicken with a dozen beans and the bug. We threw the beans away and the chicken was basically just OK. Did they sell this store to someone else because it's definitely not the same blue store we loved before.

Chicken so good, Todd Graves offered the family that owns it millions of dollars for the brand and they declined the offer.
Of all of their stores this is among the best in town. If you have a friend from out of town, this is where you bring them to inteoduce them to our town's food culture.
Its affordable, quick, and they're always so outwardly gracious of any tip value you provide them. This is a great location, and i already recommend it to a lot of people that i know.
I've been dozens of times, and I dont plan on stopping.

I am originally from North LA and I sincerely miss Chic-A-Dilly and Southern Classic style chicken spots. Blue store has been good, but it doesn't hit like those do! It is well seasoned, at times a little salty, but overall I enjoy it!
