Triplet's Blue Store Chicken

You have the best chicken and egg rolls around but you are risking losing your customers because you are not dependable. I can't count the number of times I have driven to your store only to find that you are closed because you have changed the hours AGAIN.

They have not been opening at 10 i only go when im in town and actually love their stuff but disappointed when they aren't open i live a hour 30 minutes away

This place used to be my favorite Blue Store as the fried chicken dark meat had always been plump and juicy. The last two times, I found the meat to be more dried up and the drumsticks were quite small compared to the ones I used to get before. Their red bean and rice is good, but I was quite disappointed at the large order I got today: mostly rice (around 85%) with only an anemic thin layer and helping of the red beans and sausage. Think they could have done a lot better and not be so chintzy for what they charged for the red beans and rice.

Wings are very reasonably priced and I appreciate the fact that when you order a wing, it comes with all parts of the wing (drummer, flat, and tip). The wings have great crunch and decent flavor. The shrimp fried rice came with a good amount of juicy shrimp and scallions. There isn’t really a place to sit and eat though so this spot is more for takeout.

Anytime I go to this location everything is absolutely the best food temperature is perfectly hot never do I wait over 10 min unless they're making fresh chicken and that wait not long I love coming to this place hopefully they return back to their normal business hours because 4:30 closing is to early 😂

Staff member stated she forgot previous customer’s red beans, so I was trying to pay attention to my order fulfillment. Epic fail on my part when she handed me my order and stated “everything is there,” I was stupid enough to believe her and now I am missing fried rice.

We ordered take out for chicken brests and wings. The brests were bay over fries and dry. I threw my dinner in the garbage and PoloLoco for good grilled chicken.

Based on the hype, I was expecting something exceptional from a cajun fried chicken restaurant. It was OK, but nothing more than I can get out here in houston. The shrimp fried rice was not so great, but the fries were good.
