Waffle house has always been my go-to for breakfast at odd hours of the day or night. The only issue I find is that their consistency nowadays is a bit more hit or miss. At this Staring Lane location sometimes, the items are delicious, and other times, they are bland and tasteless. Service is always above par, and most locations are consistently clean.

When you eat at Waffle House, you have to go in expecting to get sort of bad service and it’s not going to be clean. That being said, I love Waffle House. It’s pretty consistent all things considered and it’s not pricey.
This location is probably mid level among BR locations, which is not too bad.

I don't remember the three employees names (one gentleman and two ladies) but they provided wonderful service (around 3pm)
The food was so good, I wanted to take a nap.
I did show my appreciation to the team when I left.
Normally my family and I enjoy this establishment, food, and atmosphere. but tonight we showed up at around 9:50pm with little to no people. It was just 4 of us. Three adults and a child. No one greeted and no one let us know they would attend us soon, not even offered drinks like normal.We never mind waiting but tonight we just got stared down and smirking at us. I noticed the girls were talking between each other and caught them saying “down worry I’ll take that table” as if we were a problem but I brushed that off. It wasn’t until we noticed that a bigger party showed up and they were IMMEDIATELY taken care of. Sadly we decided to leave. It’s a shitty feeling to be treated that way especially when we didn’t even know what was going on to begin with.

This Waffle House is one of the best I've been to and it just so happens to be the closest one to me. The staff at this location always provides great service and the cooks they bring on are always putting out fantastic food. When me and my little baby girl go out the staff always notice her and bring her a paper hat. She LOVES her collection of paper hats. Whoever is running this location is doing it right and the staff are just as big a part of the overall great experience as well. We'll be back soon!
Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. They entertain the kids as best as they can but don't overstep and possibly make a parent or the child uncomfortable. They give kids the paper hats!
