Although it was extremely busy the service, atmosphere and food was the BEST we have had out of all of the Waffle Houses we have visited in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama and Florida!!! And it has two cooking areas, one for to go orders and one for dine in orders!!!!

Walked in the door, and there was a PILE of trash in the middle of the entrance. Sat down to order and mentioned the pile to the lady cleaning, and she kind of made excuses. The food was good, and the server was friendly. But she never came back to fill my water. I STILL love the Waffle House, though.

Let me start by saying I order at this restaurant all the time. Today I ordered a a chicken hash brown bowl add sausage gravy. When I arrived to pick up my order and the server handed it to me as if it was perfectly fine. I asked if there was silverware in the bag and she stated that they were out of silverware and I responded that it was fine. I then exited the restaurant. When I got to my car, I noticed that there was no gravy. I entered the restaurant and informed them of the missing gravy. They then replied that they were out of gravy. I requested a refund and the server rudely let me know that gravy was only fifty cents. I stated that I would like a refund for the entire hash brown bowl because I could not eat it without the gravy. The grill cook then yelled “you have to go online!” Not once did they offer to make gravy, or let me know a time frame until they would have some. Nor did they offer any alternative. I asked her how long until they would have gravy and she informed me that it would be an hour or longer because she was too busy to make gravy. I asked to speak with a manager and the grill cook stated that she was the shift supervisor and that there was nothing she could do. I was very disappointed. I’ve been eating at this waffle house since 2013 and this is the worst service I have ever experienced while getting breakfast here.

We ordered our food and sat in the truck and waited 20 minutes to walk back in and they say they haven't even fixed it yet , the ticket was in her "pocket"multiple people had came and gone and we still had yet to get our food so yepp that's my morning

got racially discriminated on pretty bad today by my waitress. this was almost as bad as my last visit to the amite location.. you can see that review as well. but if i go into detail about what happened, im sure somebody would probably get fired.. unless the one doing the firing was also a racist black person. Who i was with in waffle house was getting it much worse than me in there. We have decided to just let the ghetto keep that location too.
