So I had been coming here since 2007. I thought the place was closed but recently discovered they are still hanging on. Let me tell you.... If you want ornate wall decor, intimate atmosphere, amazing views, fancy plate garnish, and a premium price to go with it all... Then head over to Ichiban or Tsunami. But if you want a no nonsense dining experience with the freshest, cleanest, and most flavorful sushi Baton Rouge has to offer at an extremely reasonable price... Don't sleep on Wahada Restaurant.

Very delicious and affordable sushi, and great friendly service. I made a takeout order that I didn't realize had avocado on it, and they remade for me free of charge, even after I offered to pay for a remake. I love to drop in from time to time for a cute little sushi date. Definitely recommend Wahada!

I stopped in here for the first time on Sunday because my regular sushi place was closed. It was outstanding. My wife and I ordered nigiri and sashimi with a couple rolls. Everything was fresh and the service was great. I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
