There is something about neighborhood Walmarts that I like better than the Super Walmart stores. I think it's the smaller size. I always came here, when I needed a few groceries. Things were very organized and I always found what I needed. If you need anything grocery related + basic household needs and not anything that only the Super Walmart carries, then you'll be fine going to this location. Parking is always plentiful and customer service was always decent. I think I remember even getting greeted at the door a couple times... very unheard of at Walmart in Baton Rouge. Happy shopping!

It took a pandemic for me to discover grocery pick-up and WOW is it a game changer! The app makes it so easy and I love that it has favorited items/items that you've ordered in the past so you can check out fairly quickly. I usually add items to the cart over the course of a few days as I remember what I need and then check out when I meet the $35 minimum. Also, I check in on the app so they know I'm on my way and the associates are so quick in bringing out the food. I don't have to go in the store too often but when I do, the staff is helpful and the self-checkout area rarely has a line.

This is the most incompetent pharmacy in Baton Rouge. It takes forever to get a prescription filled and some of the staff is rude. Go elsewhere.

The night manager was very racist and tried to claim he was following protocol when indeed he wasn't because he still sold me the product when my spouse stepped away momentarily. If he wasn't being racist or just following the rules as he claimed then he wouldn't have sold me the product at all. And he hung up in my face when I called to get the store managers name and information. He told me to ask his "Caucasian" friends if he was racist. I've never been so disrespected in my life. Please don't shop here and get a new assistant manager.

Walked into Walmart and found my one item within 1 minute of entering the store. Got in line at the only open register. 10 minutes later, noticed 3 other customers move to register 1. I followed suit. After waiting in line for 5 more minutes I was rudely informed by the cashier that she would not be checking out my one item and that she is "closed" after the woman in front of me. I will not be returning to this Walmart. The customer service is terrible.
