Best crawfish in baton rouge

Whitney Vilarchao

I believe our waitress name was Raya or Rayna? Not 100% sure on how it was pronounced/spelled its been a fewa days but she was so sweet at helping us with it being our first time there and being out of state! It was very clean inside, and the atmophere was great! We had 0 complaints! It is a little on the pricey side if your wanting to eat pounds of crawfish but they are perfectly seasoned!!! The sauce that comes with it was good too, and you can ask for butter if you need too. We will defnitely be back next time we are in Baton Rouge but shoutout to our waitress because she was the best! My daughter loved her chicken shirt.

We knew the food would be good when we went for lunch on a Saturday and had a hard time finding parking. We found a spot and as we were walking towards the front door we were talking about how long of a wait we’d have. Neither of us guessed no wait, which was the case surprisingly. We were sat immediately, brought your drinks quickly and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food came out quickly, and was delicious, and plentiful. Pricing is a bit high but not when you consider how much food you get. We’ll definitely be back!

The crawfish is always over cooked no matter if you get them for here or togo. The meat falls apart trying to peel them. I stoped dinning in because the servers just take your order and never come back till it’s time to bring the check

A fantastic spot for great food! We went during Sunday Brunch and the menu was vast and the portions were incredible. Chicken and waffles were great. The catfish was awesome. A well-done space with great service staff and wonderful food. We'll definitely be back!

Crawfish is pretty inconsistent. Was great on 12/26. On 1/2 it was SUPER salty and overcooked. Like borderline inedible. The server said a few other people complained. Not sure why they didn’t decide to do anything about it then. We’ve only been twice and 1/2 times it was bad isn’t great odds but maybe it was an off day.

Flavors were kinda all the same. We got the onion rings and crab dip and crab and corn soup. Just not spectacular. Will come back for entrees another day

Very disappointed in lunch today. Was more than willing to pay the beginning of the season “high prices for crawfish. I even understood that the crawfish were going to be small.
When I didn’t expect was for the crawfish to be cold. What I didn’t expect was when I asked the server if it cost less to not get the sausage and potatoes, and he said no, was to see a charge for $7.50 on my ticket for those items. When I also didn’t expect, was when I requested a little melted butter to dip the not completely cooked potatoes into, was to see a charge for that as well.
I also didn’t expect for our server to disappear in the middle of our lunch, and not come back until it was time to bring the ticket. So we were unable to get any refills on our drinks.
My son ran a restaurant for years, and I know that when a customer asks about pricing, or requests an item, the server should be forthcoming with those charges and amounts.

Got the shrimp boil. Maybe it's just me but this was the first restaurant I had to devein the shrimp and most places that I go the cut on the shell is already started and comes off much easier. Every piece of shrimp had a gritty crunch to it and just had quite a fishy taste. Couldn't stomach finishing it. Alligator bites were good though. Also odd that we weren't informed about the crawfish waver before being seated and told we'd have to walk back up front to get one just to order some, so skipped on those.

If you want to wait an hour for a side salad and over an hour and a half for your food, come here. All i got was the fried shrimp. Horrible. Horrible. Even the beer had way too much head on it. Just the worst experience.
