The atmosphere is typical of a fast food restaurant that deals mostly in take out.. the service seemed to take a bit longer that it should.. we entered and the door chimed out presence.. nobody came to the counter to greet us.. we found a menu and chose what we wanted.. stood at the counter until noticed... gave our order and waited over a good 20 minutes (felt like an eternity in times of Chinese food quickness). I got the boneless ribs with beef fried rice and the chicken teriyaki. My wife got the lemon chicken with pork fried rice. We got fried wonton and pan fried dumplings as well. Not too excited about any of it... most thing I noticed is the dryness.. the ribs were dry... the chicken teriyaki was very dry and did not taste much like teriyaki...the beef fried rice was ok.. (only 3-4 small slivers of beef.. ) the fried wonton were very dry..(over fried in low temp oil IYKYK) my wife's lemon chicken was also dry (she did not feel the same).. the lemon sauce was remnant of the fleeting flavor of fruit stripe gum.. the pan fried dumplings were very good I must say... the dipping sauce was IMO a bit heavy with the rice wine vinegar.. but compliments the dumplings quite nicely... I plan on coming back to try the wonton soup and beef and broccoli.. all in all... not horrible... I feel it could be so much more.. /btw.. were were there for about an hour..and only one person came in and realized quickly that the were in the wrong place.. ?

I have been a reliable customer to wontons for over a decade now and I love their food. The place maybe not much to look at but they get the food out fast and hot and it's delicious.

We order out from Wontons almost once a week, 3 times a month, easy. Food is great or good. This is husband and wife run business and they are the nicest people. This is a not a one time review, this is a 10 year review, since they’ve been open. That should let you know whether I think they’re good or not. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants I don’t like, but this is not one of them. My famly love Wontons. They have great service, hard-working people as well as polite, great and good dishes, every restaurant has some recipes that are better than others, this is no exception. If you’ve had a bad experience, I’m not gonna doubt or dispute it. I’m just gonna say to you I’ve not had a bad experience there in 10 years and we keep going back. If you are a good customer, the wife will even make your banana pudding and give it to you for free.I love the hot and sour soup and hibachi chicken, my wife loves sesame chicken, my son loves the shrimp and lobster sauce but every meal I’ve had there has been at less good, it’s not fair to give them one shot, and then rate it as bad, the restaurant is better than that and the couple work hard to please the patrons.

I get takeout from here about once a week seems like. It is always hot, fresh and fast. It is also the best in the area because I’ve tried others. My go to is General Tso chicken with shrimp fried rice and crab ragoons. I also have really enjoyed their kung pow chicken, delicious!

Stai the cashier has horrible customer service skills treated me like trash because she thought I was a waiter driver and I was a customer and I told her I was a customer I she didn’t even want to give me a napkin told me if I wanted it pay for it! I will never order here again

After touring the LSU campus my family was looking for somewhere that wasn’t fast food since we’d been on the road eating junk. This place was perfect. The food was fast, service friendly, and they used fresh ingredients. If I lived here this would be my go-to Chinese restaurant

Crab Rangoon is good, but crazy expensive. Why so expensive??? It’s fake crab ? It’s almost twice as much as other places.

Pretty good and pretty cheap. Ordered wonton soup and egg drop soup and two egg rolls.
