I've been coming to zippys since they first opened and it's been awhile since I've been there. WOW what a change! It's almost bougie now and I love it! New renovations have the interior looking flossed and the exterior still holding that old zippys style. Good job guys!

Parking: It gets crowded but there are a bunch of public parking lots in this area all close but be prepared to walk.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

Taco Tuesday anyone. Great date night atmosphere. Daiquiris and Tacos make for great ice breakers. No date? Tons of sorority sisters seem to congregate here. Food was excellent. Good variety and flavorful. I recommend taking a quick walk in the area to get to know someone or get more romantic with your current crush.

The portion size for a single taco has *significantly* decreased. One taco is $4.75. I was done in two bites…no joke.

I used to regularly purchase the taco platter which came with two (normal sized) tacos, chips, a side of rice and refried beans. This was reasonably priced and more than enough food. Unless I misread the menu, the taco platter no longer exists.

I can no longer comfortably eat here when I must spend an egregious amount of money for such a small amount of food. A meal for two people was > $40.

The new renovations are nice, though. The service has always been good. Just disappointed in the change in menu, the portion sizes and price for a taco!

I recently visited Zippys after their remodel, and I'm disappointed with the changes. The outdoor patio, which used to have a great vibe, is now enclosed and air-conditioned, completely taking away its old charm.

The taco plate is no longer available, and the tacos have gotten smaller and are packed super sloppily. They’ve also cut back on the chips and salsa, which is a real letdown.

While the place is cleaner now and the food tastes fine, the overall experience just isn't the same. The old Zippys was way better!

The new remodel of Zippy's is absolutely amazing. It's hard to believe how much additional sitting room they have now. The new bar is huge and they have phone chargers. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that they don't serve tamales anymore.
It's still one of my favorite places in Baton Rouge
