I just got stationed here and this has been one of the best experiences I've had! We came in about about 2 hours before closing and they sat us down immediately (party of 9/4 adults and 5 kids under 7) they were attentive and kind the kids loved the staff and the food. The only thing I would change is having a bigger stomach I wanted to eat more on the menu! My grandparents were born here, the food reminded me of my childhood visiting my gma. So I definitely had a trip down memory lane! Can't wait to go back!

The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The tea is very strong. The food is outstanding! Everything was cooked to perfection and the price point was really good for the great quality of the food. $50 for me and the wife to have an appetizer two full meals and an extra side order. All the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!!

My husband got the catfish. Was a little undercooked. But everything else was good. My server was not around as much as I liked. Never refilled out drinks. And only checked on us once. But everything else was good.

Second at the restaurant and was unpleasantly surprised. The red beans and rice with sausage: the sausage was boiled (not fried) and appeared to be undercooked. Also, the red beans and rice lacked flavor. The Cajun martini was gross (do not purchase, its just pickle juices with a shot of tequila). The beignet bread puddle was crispy (hard) and lackluster. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was empty. The best part was the PainKiller drinks.....simply amazing!
