“I stopped in the night the "hurricane" was going to hit us. It was pouring down rain and tbh it was the only place open at the time. I've eaten here once before but wasn't too impressed at the price-to-food quality ratio. This night has proven that sometimes you have to give stuff a second chance. If she reads this, I want to tell the lady that was working that I really appreciate you having patience with me. Will be stopping in again soon.

“The food is great, the service is adaquate but twice my husband and I went and was loud capped by a lady that I’m assuming is the owner. My husband had a lung transplant in February and the first time we went we were trying to sit away from people and were told we couldn’t sit on the end of a big table.This was done loudly across the restaurant full of people.
Today he wanted to surprise me and take me there and when we went in there was 2 small tables and one large ones empty and she yelled to us “no more table! No more tables!” There we stood seeing the empty ones and the whole restaurant looking at us.
We turned and left And decided then that we are never going back.”

“Unironically the family was all over the country this Thanksgiving 2025. So we (myself and another) discussed where to go spend our Thanksgiving Day meal. Not only was the food delicious, it was beyond delicious and the food was simply amazing on this Thanksgiving Day. The staff was on FIRE and the cooks, I wanted to hug them, (sent the waitress instead not to slow down the process) and the fried chicken, stop it, just stop. The entire meal was amazing and we are excited as foodies to try the buffet out when it’s a non holiday. On this holiday, thanks Bogalusa Grill for making our holiday dinner AMAZINGLY FUN TO EAT!”

“First time customers. The food was delivered quickly. I got bbq pork on bun with potato salad. Danny got smoked chicken with green beans, fried okra & roll. The food was FABULOUS!! And a LOT! I needed a box because my sandwich was packed with meat & filled me up!! So good!! The fried okra was perfection! Perfection, I tell you!! Excellent potato salad, too! I usually have him grab me a cinnamon roll with extra icing (because I'm a sweet tooth kinda person). we get charged for it and, for the most part, it's ok.... except when they charge you and don't put the extra icing. where is MRS NANCY? She was the only one that made them like I like em...... when I say I want extra icing, and I get charged for it, I want that thing swimming🤣🤣”

I got the roast beef poboy and some fries. The roast beef was SO tender, and the fries crispier than almost any other place I’ve been. Super flavorful and definitely hit the spot for lunch.”
