“We are not from Poplarville, so when we questioned about a good place to eat, we were refered to this place. The food was excellent, the service was extremely excellent, very friendly down home type people. Felt more like eating with family and friends than eating out. When we get back to the area, we will be visiting again. We'll worth the price. Even the leftovers were good the next day!!! We had ribs, brisket, chicken and sausage, coleslaw, corn on the cob, and cheesy potatoes. I highly recommend them!!!Dietary restrictions: Food allergies are taken seriously. They were very considerate and accommodating .”

“We only go on Sundays for lunch. Great fried chicken. I love that they have a different salad every week. Their rice and gravy is yummy. A must go at least once a month.Kid-friendliness: Very at your momma feel. And almost every kid I know will eat rolls and Mac & Cheese.”

“Friday special of house made roast beef is good. Pimento cheese and cracker appetizer is delicious. But seriously do not miss the chocolate chip cookies. What a treat!!The name is honest and true about this location. It is eclectic and perfect. A local favorite. Regulars actually showed up with Christmas presents as we sat enjoying cookies. Could it get more wholesome and perfect?”

“So thrilled to have found this place traveling. We got our fix for fabulous crawfish and an awesome roast beef po boy. Peel and eat shrimp and onion strings were fantastic as well. We stopped for lunch and so glad because our last dinner in the south before heading back to cold country..... Ran out of crawfish!!”

“For a canjon cooking and home cooking it's the best. We had some friends from out of town came over we wanted a nice home,canjon and soul food all into one. We found it Big Mama's on 603 I recommend this down home place.”

“My son and I ate here tonight. The server was excellent, she took the time to talk to him about sushi because he wanted to try some. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good. I’m not very familiar with Japanese food but it was nice to have something different to eat. It was an exotic experience for a Poplarville restaurant.”

“Stopped to get gas & use the restroom to freshen up during trips to & from New Orleans from Murfreesboro TN. Low price for gas. Clean facility. Friendly & helpful staff. Great atmosphere.”

“When we walked it the line was all the way down the front of the counter/case. I figured we would be there a while based on past experience at other subways... I was so wrong! We were out of there within 7 minutes. These three workers had it going on, and I told them as much! Great teamwork and all very sweet and friendly. It's nice to see workers have a sense of purpose and urgency in their work. That is severely lacking in most places these days! Great job guys!”

“normally I have never had a a bad visit until today. Cashier took my order and the person in back made what was on the ticket...which is not what I ordered. Couldn't really bring it up to the manager as he was on his phone texting or surfing as he always is, except this time he did have a broom in his hand.I also thought the 3 taco special came with a drink, but that must have changed as I had to buy a drink too... I will check on the sign up front when I leave.I had them at 5 stars for the longest time..and yeah a few times did have a small thing wrong with my order but nothing big.”

“Went for lunch. Numerous lunch specials available. Restaurant was clean and service was great and friendly. My chicken quesadilla and enchilada meal was very tasty. One of the best quesadilla's ive had. My wifes burger was massive and cooked perfectly. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.”

“Stopped on the way to see the Grands. Glad we did. Food was good. You order at the register but girls up front were personable and helpful. They knew the menu well. Food was exactly what I expected. Not so special but hot, correct and good. We enjoyed playing cards until the food arrived. Wait was minimal. Atmosphere is small town good. If coming through this area I would recommend you stop for sure.”

“We had the lunch buffet at a great price. Our waitress Crystal was wonderful (our drinks never got below half). The pizza bar was out of chicken bacon ranch pizza and dessert pizza, we asked her and minutes later out it came. The ambiance was very nice and restaurant was very clean. Great place for a family meal.”
