“This place is actually amazing. When I found out there was going to be an ice cream shop opening, I was SO happy. They do not have homemade ice cream, they have BLUE BELL ice cream, the top tier. Also great variety of food other than ice cream. “Garlic and herb wings were delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken fried rice could have used a little seasoning but I used some seasoning that fell off the wings. Pork egg rolls were perfect. My wife's Mongolian beef with rice noodles was great. Total was 26 dollars and I gave the cashier 40 and she forgot to give me my change but the meal and service was worth it.”

“I happened to be in town from Gulfport and am so glad I found this place online. The food was second to none, which says a lot coming from a buffet. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. Particularly, some of the best fried chicken I’ve had (BUT all food was fantastic). I will be coming back from the Gulf Coast to eat here with the rest of the family!”

“Southern hospitality at its finest with friendly attentive servers, greeted with hardy y'all's and a smile. As soon as we sat down, flavorful hot Hush puppies and slaw were served family style. They were replenished as wanted through out the meal. All of the food was delivered hot and delicious but the Onion Ring Appetizers could have been the best I have ever had! Get there early as it tends to fill up fast.”

“Such a cute little cafe! The workers are always so sweet and every snack and beverage I've tried has been absolutely amazing! The little indoor seating area is so cozy, a perfect place to chat or just unwind and enjoy the smells. The outdoor seating is bigger, and is a great spot to enjoy if you're visiting with a larger party. I love to sit out there and soak up the sun when the weather is nice. And you'll often get lucky and get to watch a train go by!”

“The food was absolutely delicious. I had the pollo ranchero and it was cooked to perfection. The server made the experience enjoyable for our family of 9. The bathroom was clean, which is a definite plus. The food arrived quickly and it was all hot. All 9 of us enjoyed our dinner.”

“Have eaten there several times. Each time I've had the 10oz steak - wonderful. Very flavorful and covers the plate. For my wife & I it's the best thing on the menue. Although atmosphere isn't high-end as what might be expected in a larger town, all is quite good. Service is friendly and has been polite and prompt. Small, locally owned business. Great for lunch and dinner.”

“This place is open on strange days but it works. I think it is Thursday to Sunday but not positive. They offer primarily fried foods. This could make it difficult for people who would like something else. They do have boiled shrimp which I don't care for. That's not because of the place I don't like it from anywhere. The staff are great and do what they can. I took a star for that as we waited a very extended period of time but they are under staffed. I get it as I have a business I run as well. Over all good food good times and a family atmosphere. I like going when I have time.”

“I was in Tuscaloosa AL in the 90's in college first time I had a Jacks burger. 3o+ yrs later they put one in my small town in Ms. OMG! Still as amazing as I remember. Those burgers and fries are something else. This is my fav burger joint in town. Their friendly, fat service amazing burger and the Nostalgia factor.”

“Food is good 90% of the time so that's the reason for the 4 stars. Depends on what time of day you stop by usually. Evening and night shift are mostly made up of high school age kids who cuss and act immature when there school mates show up. The morning and lunch crew which are made up mostly of hard working adults therefore you get the best service. The drive in is very nice and easily accessible.”

“The only McDonald's I have ever been to that the burger actually looked like the advertisement. The burger was larger than the bun and not hidden in the bread. Total five stars with the food. The service, however, not as good. We ordered a Big Mac, a Quarter Pounder and two large fries. The girl taking our order repeated it back to us and it was right. However, when we pick up our bag and look inside there was only one large order of fries. We told the girl that we ordered two large fries. She looked at the receipt and with an attitude said, "Well, you only paid for one." She was right. We had only been charged for one. So the girl taking our order messed up and the girl giving us our order cops an attitude. How is this okay?”

“This small roadside burger shop is so much more than a burger joint. They have several non-burgdr sandwiches, including an amazing BLFGT (bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato) sandwich! The generous portion of thick cut bacon was cooked to crispy perfection. The portion of the hand-cut fries (the included side I chose) was also very generous, and they were delicious. The seating is limited to 2 picnic tables with umbrellas and bar stools along a covered counter area. There were 10 of us the first time we dined at Chuck's, and everyone raved over their different sandwiches.”

“I had an appointment at DMV and searched somewhere close to eat. Homestyle Restaurant was .3 miles away. By the time I got there, there was no more dark chicken, but all I had to do was wait 15 minutes and I was blessed with a plate of fried chicken, okra, cabbage, macaroni and cheese and lemonade. People it was just like Mama or Granny made it. I am a fan! I will be back to tell y’all about every item on the menu. Stay tuned….,”

“Subway is an awesome chain of fast-food walk-in restaurants that is in every state of our country, that I know of, possibly in other countries as well! My favorite item, well, one of my favorite items is their flatbread bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sub! An awesome perk to Subway is that you get to watch the employee make your sandwich while you express what veggies and type of cheese you would like. Of course, with this particular breakfast sub, I prefer to add tomato, spinach leaves, a dash of salt and pepper, and vinegar and oil. A new item they have recently added, it may only be a limited time offer, but I think it should be added to their menu, is what they call "Lil Sliders." There are 4 different ones to choose from. The one I remember is the 'Ham n Jack,' which is my favorite. I can't remember exactly the others, but I know one has steak and cheese, like a mini philly steak and cheese sub. I'm thinking another one has Turkey and something, and I just can't think of the last one at the moment. I'll have to come back and edit this post when I get the correct names of those lil sliders. Anyway, they cost $1.89 each, plus 7% sales tax. Oh, and my MOST favorite item of all is the guacamole!! That ugly green stuff is so very tasteful!! Go get your Sub today, just YOUR WAY!! ???? ?? ?They also have awesome cookies!!? Their newest addition, which I haven't tried, is their dark-chocolate cherry cookie with cherry flavored sprinkles on top, yuuummmmmm!!!! ???”
