“I eat here regularly, especially on Tuesday as their Hamburger Steak and gravy is delicious. Today I was too busy at work to sit down and eat. I called in an order and they charged me a 10% gratuity for a to-go order. I honestly believe they should have just went up on the prices a $1 on the daily menu specials then to add gratuity when they advertise a certain price. If not for that they would have a 5 star rating because the food is delicious and the service when dining-in is great.”

“The food was cooked and delivered to the table fairly quickly and for the most part, it was hot and delicious! The service was top notch, she was very thoughtful when it came to my kids and she made sure that our drinks stayed full. I honestly have no complaints about the overall experience. However, the dishes looked like they had been washed by a pack of dogs licking them. They were disgusting. There's no way the employees could miss that cuz it was literally the first thing I noticed as she was setting the dishes on the table. Although, I wiped them out with my rag, and ate my dinner without a fuss, I will likely not be back! If I do decide to go back one day, I will notify the manager and ask for all of my dishes to be freshly washed b4 being served.

Update: I went back today and everything was perfect, I have zero complaints and our waitress was the best. She come to check on us often enough that we had everything we needed as quick as you could possibly wish for!”

“Love the layout of this bar but the drinks leave much to be desired. I tried 3 different drinks and none were up to par. Would be better if they used glasses instead of plastic cups. The performance was good but the stage is too dark and the spotlight is too small, so the artists were performing under dim light for much of the time. But overall, this is a good bar for Hattiesburg. I was in town to visit so I’m a bit pickier since I’m used to Atlanta. EJ & Elsie did a great job!”

“My family and I flew into town from Los Angeles on 11/11/2021 and the next morning we decided grab a bite to eat at lthe Waffle House, in Hattiesburg, MS location 235. Our only expectation was to eat good food in a timely manner. However. The experience we received was hands down perhaps the best sservice we have ever recieved from iut of town. The food was just what I expected . However, the service and crew was above our expectation. They were prompt, engaging, polite, relatable and more. Our 2 year old who at times can be off and on about her eating choices determined this day she was only interested in bacon. She then adked for chips and i went to the car to get a bag of Gold Fish. Shebthen begin to song the world renowned jingle, " Baby Shark". This led to me singing along with her and soon after several other employees began doing the same. Someone began to play the actual song and from just about the whole resturant was singing along of clirse causing my daughter to become ecstatic and full of joy as she danced! This made my baby girl's day and my family as well. I must say that it's service like this that you miss when its not there and surley one you want to take with you wherever you go! If i had to sum the experience up using a simple phrase it would be one drawn from the 80's television show, Cheers! “We recently ate lunch at Tabella. I had the lighter meal of lemon pepper chicken, garlic green beans and garlic potatoes. The chicken was a thin piece of breast that had been grilled which is what I like but it was overcooked resulting in it being dry. The green beans were undercooked. The potatoes were excellent as was the service. This won't stop us from eating at Tabella in the future but it wasn't what we have come to expect when eating there.”

They do have a sign by the DJ booth that says no drinks on the dance floor, but I continuosly saw people taking their drinks and cigarettes on the dance floor. The dance floor is a good size, but needs to be sanded down smooth because now it is uneven and is a trip hazard. For some reason there are regularly 6 or more people moving in and out of the bar/grill area. ???”

“I'll Start with the Pro's First and I only did the BBQ portion

This place is very clean, food line, tables, floors everything I saw was very clean which is nice. The Interior Design was nice and pleasing. They were well stocked on all the food and you have a lot of options for the price you pay. Food quality is pretty decent. Coming here with a group if this is your normal go to place or even your first time with KBBQ you shouldn't be disappointed. Plenty of veggies, sides, appetizers, even some precooked foods like noodles, chicken, and fried rice. Several sauces to choose from to dip in. Very comfortable chairs, generous table space.

Cons
If you have had Kbbq before from pretty much anywhere else then this will probably be a letdown. They keep a parchment paper on the grill to cook on. As someone who has had to clean grills at a KBBQ, I get it. Its not fun to clean especially during a rush. However, doing so really brought down my enjoyment and experience. Normally I can cook beef brisket super quick, within 2-3 minutes max but instead I am waiting much longer probably 5+ to get it cooked all the way through even longer for the pork. Never cooking on paper before was quite the adjustment and I realized I had undercooked the pork after biting into it. I also like to Sautee my veggies with my meats and I had onions on that grill for about 10 minutes before starting to get good color on them green bell peppers for even longer. I have had KBBQ in Missouri, Louisiana, California, and even in Korea so while it's by no means gross in anyway it's a letdown, if you are experienced with KBBQ you might like it, but I would give it a pass.
