“Tried them for a large takeout order. Food was ready upon my arrival and neatly packaged and labeled for each person. Staff was very friendly, and I even met "Uncle Al'. The shrimp and catfish po boys were very good. EVERYONE was very pleased with their order. The batter and seasonings on the seafood is a perfect spice blend that gives you that southern spark when it touches your tastebuds. I will definitely be back.“
“Waitress spilled a plate of food on me, but she was very professional and apologetic about it. It was clearly an accident and things happen. No worries from me, she brought me a damp towel to clean myself up and our table of 4 guest continued on to have a great meal with excellent service. Brooklyne is a great server we thoroughly enjoyed our experience despite the mishap.“

“Initially I was little disappointed when I walked in and saw that this is a giant self-serve salad bar, because I don’t want to make my own food when I go out to eat, lol. Also, as you walk down the bar, you find more ingredients that you didn’t know were there and then you just keep adding all of these random items to your bowl- like, ooh cilantro, ooh banana peppers, buffalo chicken, I want that too! When I looked down at the ‘Frankenstein’s monster’ that I had created, my initial thought was, ‘Dang, I wish I could dump this out and start over’. But, surprisingly, it actually tasted good, even though I had put so many random things in that bowl. And better yet, I felt great after I ate here, because it was light and healthy and it gave me lots of energy to get through my day. Now that I know what ingredients they have, I’ll be able to build a more cohesive salad the next time. Also, kudos to them for using compostable bowls. I wish more restaurants were environmentally aware like this one is!“

“Starting this off, I'm not a fan of sandwiches at all, but this place has one of the friendliest and positive staff. Not to mention the vibe here is absolutely amazing, I always see a smile on everyone's face and probably one of the prettiest buildings i've ever seen in hattiesburg. Fan favorite for me personally is the Newk's Q (obviously!) and to follow that up with a miss vickey's bbq chips. This is definitely the place that would turn me into a sandwhich person for not being a sandwhich person.“
“For some reason this place is great. The interior recently got a nice and needed face lift, the food is pretty good. The gumbo is ON POINT!! The service is up and down though. You'll either get a nice happy gal or grumpy one who doesn't like people. Either way I still come back and enjoy every bit of Gold Post!!“
“Very nice little diner. The food was great, although half our order arrived much later than the first half. There was a long wait that pushed us outside of the breakfast cutoff so I didn’t get the dish I was longing for, but the backup was delicious. Would eat here again for sure.“
