“We ordered a healthy sampling of their offerings since this was our first visit. We had the Cajun fries, cheese and bacon fries, seafood egg rolls, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, spring egg rolls, surf-n-turf Philly, and the wings in sweet red chili sauce.The Cajun fries were the best fries I've had in a long time. Crispy with great flavor and hot. The Cheese and bacon fries were good but it wasn't our style. A little soft for our liking. The egg rolls were all absolutely stuffed. The seafood egg roll was light and smooth with a perfectly crisp outer shell. No strong "fish"smells. Just a mild blend of seafoods.The surf and turf Philly was creamy, spicy, and absolutely loaded. The bread was traditional po boy bread. Crisp and flaky. The filling was a blend of perfectly cooked shrimp and Philly cheesesteak with jalapeños, peppers and mushrooms.The wings were the best I've ever had. Crispy outside, cooked just right and the sweet red chili sauce was dynamite! We ended up dipping just about everything in that sauce.We will return again.... And again!“
“For some reason this place is great. The interior recently got a nice and needed face lift, the food is pretty good. The gumbo is ON POINT!! The service is up and down though. You'll either get a nice happy gal or grumpy one who doesn't like people. Either way I still come back and enjoy every bit of Gold Post!!“

It had the fabulous soda machine where all I get it coke zero mixed with diet Dr. Pepper.Vegetarian options: They had all the veggies in there. I loved it. “Arrived slightly confused, as I was actually headed North at the time. Nevertheless, the staff was helpful with cool rags for my forehead and a selection of smelling salts to assist in rousing me from my (quite understandable) state of Directional Disfunction. I can't overstate the helpful friendliness of the staff. Perhaps most charming of all was their insistence on letting me sample every single menu item, as my initial order of a bacon/egg bagel was deemed far too pedestrian, and could only be prepared after first providing me every other possible option. 5 stars. Would receive wrong order again in a heartbeat.“
