“Food was a delicious to the taste as it smelled.“

“Panchos Cantina in Brandon deserves all the hype and then some. We stopped in for dinner and were blown away from the moment the food hit the table. The carnitas came out sizzling on a cast-iron skillet piled high with tender, juicy pork and sweet grilled onions. It was the kind of portion that makes you stop and stare for a second before digging in. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly, this might be my new go-to carnitas spot in Mississippi.

The sides were just as delicious. The rice was seasoned perfectly, the refried beans were creamy with that melted cheese on top, and the fresh lettuce, pico, sour cream, and guacamole rounded everything out. Even the grilled jalapeños were incredible. Everything tasted homemade and came out piping hot.

We also tried the street-style tacos, and those didn’t disappoint either. Packed with meat and onions and served with beans, rice, and sauces, they were a whole meal on their own. Generous portions all around, and everything looked as good as it tasted.

On top of the food, Panchos had live music going, which gave the whole place such a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, great music, and friendly service. It felt like the kind of night out you want to repeat.

“We visited tonight and Jaci Lashay was amazing! They were very short staffed and she was having to wait on all of the tables inside and out, and she did a very good job. Too many people like to blame a waitress for restaurant issues…..I saw many people that were mad at her, when she was literally having to prepare food herself!“

“Ok my first time here you guys know I'm harder because I was an owner so I loved this place anytime you go somewhere and it does not look the place that's great. It was mid-afternoon and no crowd plenty of staff so I was confused as to the wait. Finally made our order and turn around was also a little slow as there was only one other table sitting. Food arrived good stuff I was happy overall. I didn't know about this place will gladly tell others to stop by for a good meal hopefully a fast one.“

“Now, I’m not the one to leave bad comments, but now, on Oct 14, 2023, I visited the Brandon store and got in the mobile line and didn’t know there were 2 separate lines only to get to the attendant and was told that I had to circle back around and get in the drive thru line because, I can’t take drive thru orders in this line. Well, I circled the building and made sure I got in the drive thru line with a customer in front of me having mobile app issues that should have been in the mobile line. The same attendant that told me to circle the building came from the mobile line and took the order of the customer. Once that attendant was done with that customer I questioned the fact why my order couldn’t be taken from the mobile line when I was in it like you came over to the drive thru line with that customer that was having mobile issues? It was unacceptable. That’s all I have folks.“

“Awesome atmosphere, friendly staff... but the cookie thing... Tasted like store bought frozen dough cookies that you put in the oven and got high and forgot they were there and got kinda burnt but not burnt enough to make them inedible so you eat ‘em anyways.

“I’m at SAHM of two little ones (4&2) Due to the timing of my youngest’s speech therapy appointments we eat lunch out twice a week. It’s always something I secretly dread because we don’t do screens so my kiddos can be wild. Usually workers give me funny looks but not here. Everyone was nothing but helpful. “Newks is a very nice place to eat. It is basically upscale subway. The food is very good. The service is always usually very good. Also as state the atmosphere is nice and upscaled compared to what you get at most soup and sandwich shops. They also have a great variety of other foods options and sides also lastly atmosphere wise it is very much mid scale not high end but still very nice compared to other places“
