“I first had a sandwich back in the 70s at the Jackson Mall and was immediately hooked on Chic Filet. I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve eaten there and it’s always been great. Sadly, I was served the traditional chicken sandwich and couldn’t eat it due to a foul taste I can’t describe. I didn’t complain because I had some colleagues with me that were enjoying their meal and I must mention that the staff were so polite and genuine. “I dined in by myself first time ever doing that! The service was amazing! Food came out hot and fast and all tasted delicious! Wish I would have taken a pic! My server was awesome wish I would have remembered her name! Definitely recommend this location. The general manager and another manager both cake and checked on the tables which was really nice! “I had the baked tilapia tacos & when I say the fish itself was seasoned to perfection (I took some out of the tacos to taste it by itself). The portion size for the tacos & the rice & beans that came w/ the order was great for the price. I got full & had plenty of leftover rice & beans. I'll definitely be back. I normally have to travel a pretty good distance to get fish tacos, but since ive found this place not far from home, it'll now be my go to. Service was great, as well as the atmosphere. Maybe next time I'll dine in to experience the atmosphere more.“
