“My husband and I were in Jackson with a few hours to kill. We stopped a nice couple in Highland Village to ask where they would recommend us eating lunch. We were both very pleased with their recommendation. I enjoyed the linguine with crawfish tails on which our attentive waitress helped me decide. My husband enjoyed the carne pizza. We will definitely return the next time we’re in town.“

“I just want to comment. I’m one of your managers on Lakeland Drive, Dee. I called not realizing that it was a lunch crowd and explain to her that I needed some sandwich catered. Could she do it. She explained very nicely that she was in the middle of a lunch crowd, but would try her best. When I got there an hour later, my sandwiches, chips, salad, And tea or waiting for me. “Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“I've only ordered about 4 times there, and I'm quite sure they don't overcook everything they serve, but my meat lovers pizza melt is always overcooked. It's so hard, you barely can enjoy it. One of the cooks told me it's because the crust is very thin. So I won't be ordering that anymore. But they get your orders prepared promptly and that's a good thing 😊😊“

The cheese burger is huge and delicious, the hamburger wraps are also humongous and delectable, the Philly pizza is the absolute best, the chipotle, lemon pepper, and buffalo wings are finger licking good, and the buffalo shrimp salad is top tier!!! “One of our favorite places to a door dash type of delivery. TONS AND TONS AND TONS of different types of food from burgers to mushrooms to sandwiches to fish. Much of the menu is fried but carefully battered. It does seem like they fry most things in the same grease. Honestly, it's a delicious treat here and there. I recommend the fried mushrooms and the fried dill pickle spears.“

“I have to say I have not been to this pizza hut often but my experience was decent. My food was good service was acceptably fast and the atmosphere was okay. It's a typical walk in location. I will say the food could've been made quicker but I don't know how many orders they had ahead of me though and the wait was not super bad just a little bit longer than normal in other locations.“
