“I first had a sandwich back in the 70s at the Jackson Mall and was immediately hooked on Chic Filet. I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve eaten there and it’s always been great. Sadly, I was served the traditional chicken sandwich and couldn’t eat it due to a foul taste I can’t describe. I didn’t complain because I had some colleagues with me that were enjoying their meal and I must mention that the staff were so polite and genuine. “My first time to Jack’s but the hubs gets breakfast there when he’s working in Natchez. His app sent him a free 3 piece chicken tender meal and we were peckish so he stopped to redeem it.

The nicest young man took our order at the drive up window. Super friendly. Very efficient. Tenders and fries were both hot and fresh. They did accidentally give us ranch instead of their comeback but we didn’t feel like turning around.

“First time trying Cook Out. Drive thru was quick, though the person taking my order seemed to be in a rush, and the speaker kept cutting in and out. Food was surprisingly great and the quantity was good, too. Don’t like that I got a cup full of ice and not much drink. I wasn’t asked if I would like any ketchup, and wasn’t given any napkins. Didn’t go inside, so can’t rate or review the atmosphere.
Over all.. I’ll be revisiting.“

“The fries size is too small! This is probably one of the oldest locations in the area. The drive-thru only has one lane, and there isn’t a separate lane for mobile orders, which makes pickup very inconvenient. The inside also looks quite old and outdated. Service was pretty slow, and overall, the experience could definitely be improved.“

I jumped in the drive thru, and was asked to come to the walk up. I only had maybe a five min wait time for my food. The staff was nice and the building was clean. The food was delicious.“
