“I love the gyro. The meat is perfectly seasoned. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of the sauce it taste like straight sour cream and that’s about it. I always get the toppings on the side because it’s so big you can’t eat it all at once I can easily eat half and reheat the other half later. You definitely get your moneys worth!!!“

“This is the best place in Jackson for a great home style hamburger. It is consistently good. The burgers are big and cooked just right. The price was better than expected. It is my go to for burgers. They also have a variety of local menu favorites like turkey necks, fries fish, chicken, and Kool-aid. You can also enjoy a game of pool while u wait. I recommend ordering ahead. They give u a call when ur order is ready, to avoid having to get there and wait. The only issues are parking and location. The parking is very limited and kind of difficult to get to. No designating parking spots. It's also not well lit.“

“The service was excellent! Atmosphere was good vibes, and very friendly staff. I was taking my uncle home, and passed by the restaurant. I decided to back up. I stopped for fish. I ordered two fish sandwiches. One for me, and one for my uncle. We enjoyed it!! If you are ever in the area, please stop by and get a plate.They have a pretty large menu. You won't be disappointed.❤️☺️“

“The food is excellent. It's super flavorful and you get hefty portions. However the environment is tense and the workers are not friendly. No one smiles. Not even the owner. The customers warily eye each other. As if they are all waiting on something to jump off.

Also be prepared to wait forever for your meal and to even order. People come in daily and order several plates which appear to be for very large groups and you will wait until every single plate is made and handed out before they get to your order. The wait is obscene. The store has no restroom and they have it super hot in that store so you will stand around in the heat for 30 to 40 minutes to order and maybe longer to get your meal.

There has to be a better way to do this. I spoke to the business owner and asked if there was an online way to order or over the phone method and he said this is not set up and apparently he wasn't interested. He was also a bit gruff with me. He appears to be constantly busy and working hard so maybe he was stressed.

Although the wait is long, the store is hot, there is no restroom, no one smiles, and the man working the register will look at you as if you just transplanted from Mars - I love the fact I'm supporting this brothers business and I do enjoy the food so I will return.“

“The burgers were terrific. The sides were tasty, but I thought the size was small. I ordered onion rings and cheese bites (or whatever they were called) I only had about 4 cheese bites. The others I was with also had ice cream and said it was tasty.

“Ordered online & it said to pick up in 15 minutes. Got there, and it was ready. I ordered beef tacos, but they advised me that they were out of them when I got there. It didn't matter. The food was good either way. Those wings were so good. I should've ordered more.“

“The food, service, and atmosphere are always great at any local I visit around Jackson!! Sonic has a variety of selections to choose from on their menu!! Great place to take the family on nights you don't feel like cooking!! And they have some of the best orange juice and tasty breakfast choices!! Last but not least, don't forget to TIP!! Sonic is in a class of its own!!!“

“This was the best smoked chicken and baked beans I’ve ever had that chicken will make you slap your mother and your Grandma. The Olive Branch Chicken Coop has delicious food that is consistently good. Usually I bring the wings home, but one time I ate there and I started to notice how badly the restaurant was kept up. It is uncomfortably hot and you will smell like fried food when you leave due to poor ventilation (this is normal for small restaurants that fry their food - not picking on this place). I was the only one who sat there and ate. I think the 2 guys working there were embarrassed b/c they started cleaning around me.“

“Nice restaurant, upon entering you'll notice a pass through cages and I noted that this was very unique. They have a drink bar to the right and straight ahead is the counter where you receive your order. Because I called my order in they just asked for my phone number and I gave it to them and my order was brought out in seconds. My only dismayed is that the food is so hot that it stings in the carryout container and it makes the food soggy. I wish there was a way that they could rectify this otherwise I would give them all high marks.“

“This place was very busy and quite lively. They have an ordering system that needs some fine tuning. You scan the QR Code and place your order, but the staff is constantly asking what your name is in order to locate your food. Perhaps the system should include a place to add your table number to make things a bit easier. Overall, the staff was very friendly and the food was good. I wish they had set more tables on the patio because it was small and crowded inside. We will certainly visit again for brunch... BTW: the fresh cut fries were delicious.“
