“I am 68, and ribs have been one of my favorite foods all of my adult life. I rarely write reviews online, but I am compelled to recommend Down South BBQ & Burgers. Their ribs are the best I have ever had: almost (almost is the key) fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. Try them dry first, but they have a selection of delicious sauces, too. Down South also has delicious chicken, brisket, and wings in addition to burgers and a wide selection of side dishes. The folks are friendly and well organized and offer a simple, immaculately clean dining area if you want to dine in. If you haven't tried Down South, I encourage you to do so!“

“The food is exceptionally good. I'm from Chicago amd when I visit MS i have to get the country fried chicken sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Hot, fresh and speedily ready. I cant thank them enough. Perhaps one day the suburbs of Chicago will get one of these restaurants.“

“The managers here have to become Team players to support the crew when it's crowded, rush hour and in crunch time....Never should a manager tell a crew member; that they cannot do a job, I dont do that, or it's not my job. I from old school where managers knew all aspects of the operations and had to hold the line to make things happen effectively and assist with the mission of delivering a great service. Some retraining and personal development tactics need to be installed here.... But at the end of ya gruesome wait....it's Wendy's food and taste that helps you to compromise....“

“I usually don’t leave reviews on fast food, but after seeing all of the bad reviews I would like to share my experience. Food was hot and fresh, service was super quick, everything we ordered was correct, and the employees were polite. Solid Wendy’s and glad we stopped!“

“This Sonic is excellent during lunch. The staff is fast, friendly, and consistent.
My only issue is with the stall screens. Several of them appear poorly calibrated or have faulty sensors. At times they will accept a card but then fail to complete the transaction because the screen stops responding.

There are other ways to pay, so payment itself is not the problem. The real issue is tipping. When a screen malfunctions, there is no way to leave a tip on a card. That directly affects the employees, not the customer.

This should be addressed either by keeping the screens functional or by allowing alternative payment methods to include a card tip option. As it stands, the system unintentionally limits the staff’s ability to receive tips they have earned.“

“Wanted to give a shout out to the service we received on Christmas Day. There were only 2 - 3 people running the whole restaurant, and they were doing a great job in spite of the difficult circumstances. The restaurant was one of only 2 places open at the interstate exit (along with the Waffle House). I know most people were angry due to the long wait, but the staff was doing the absolute best they could. Plus, they were working on Christmas Day which we all know is difficult when you want to be with your family. Greeted us with a smile at window one and window two. Food was HOT and delicious. Fries were so fresh they burned our fingers. Everything was still warm when we got back to downtown Flora! Worth stopping by on your way on 55N or 55S!“

“Even though Wayback Burgers has been open in Gluckstadt for a while, I had never tried it until recently, and I’m glad I finally did. The burger was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor, and the tater tots were hot, crispy, and cooked just right.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food came out fresh. They have more than just burgers on the menu too, so there are plenty of options to choose from. If you’re looking for a quality meal that’s a step above the usual fast-food spots, Wayback Burgers is definitely worth a visit.“

“I had a great experience tonight at this location, thanks to the Manager on Duty! I forgot to order a frosty, and had to come inside to do so, after going through the drive through. She quickly stopped what she was doing to fix my treat and gave me a little something extra-I think she could tell I was going through it!! Upon returning home, there was an accident and a tea was spilled so I ran back to Wendy’s to grab another. The manager again quickly stopped what she was doing to get me a new tea (which I absolutely expected to purchase) free of charge. Sometimes you don’t know just how kind you’re being when someone’s having a stressful day, and this manager was a ray of sunshine in a hectic day!!!“

“I visited this location (11/20) during rush/lunch hour. I want to give a kudos to the team. Despite it being very busy, they maintained warm attitudes, communicated with one another, and my food was hot! The young lady on the register was new (I assume) but she greeted people as they walked in despite feeling nervous. There was someone I observed being difficult with them and very picky about certain things and yet the remained very professional and tried to accommodate her as best they could. Keep up the great work!“
