“Happened upon this place while in town for a soccer tourney. Wanted some seafood and boy did we get what we wanted. Hostess was funny and friendly and our server Risha was amazing. She showed us all our options, asked questions to help us decide and helped us order to our liking. Everything we ate melted in our mouths. Best seafood and meal we have had in a very long time. The general manager stopped by to chat and thank us for coming in. We hope to bring our whole team back for a team dinner. Next time we’re in town this will be our go to place for sure. Can’t say enough about The Mighty Crab, thanks for having us!!“

“Tried the new brunch menu. It was every positive superlative I could share.
I am praying they keep it on weekends.
The risotto cakes accompanying the Omelet American where beyond delicious.
My husband could not get enough of the plank-grilled pork chops with peach glaze.
We WILL return specifically for that menu. Often.“

“I love that Char takes reservations and your table is ready on time. The service is always quick and you never have to ask for refills. I recommend both the fish and steaks, and all the sides are very good. Also, you should aways save room for dessert!!!“

“This was a wonderful experience! We sat at a table close to the door. Our server Ashley was very attentive, she also provided us with excellent mouth watering recommendations. “Absolutely the finest in the area / staff is wonderful / owner is always on hand and is one of the finest in the area / I have eaten in the finest restaurants from Chicago to the west coast none can compare with the service and food !!! And has the best coffee anywhere / onion rings with every order if you want!!! Music is mostly oldies and at level so you can talk to your partner while enjoying the restaurant - I have been eating there for over 30 years - nothing has changed - he has a 7ft security guard that can make you feel very safe. You just have to try it if you have not, you would be missing a great and memorable outing“

“I really think the food is great, we had the reservation at 8:30 PM. There was still a few tables were eating, we had a seafood gumbo bake oysters and Cajun red fish, the lease favorite dish to me was the bake oysters, not sure if they were not fresh or they over cooked, he was very mushy and I can’t taste any oysters but I think after all was good pretty good food“

“Ordered online & it said to pick up in 15 minutes. Got there, and it was ready. I ordered beef tacos, but they advised me that they were out of them when I got there. It didn't matter. The food was good either way. Those wings were so good. I should've ordered more.“

“Best burger I’ve had in a long time. No shade, but they are better than Stamp Burgers in my opinion. The flavor is soooo delicious! Seasoned so well! I get mine with everything including bacon ?. May try a fried egg next time. Staff is friendly and place is clean.
Parking: Nice places to park for free in this historic area of Jackson, Mississippi. A stone’s throw from Johnny T’s and a skip from Big Apple Inn.“

“I’ve been frequenting this restaurant for years. I don’t know what seasoning they use and they will not tell me but it is sooooo good! I have had their oyster Po boy, chicken wings, gizzards, livers and they were all delicious. I have moved to Madison, but I betcha I’m stopping today for my order of their house salad and gizzards! I hope they one day open up another restaurant off Countyline or Ridgeland, maybe I’ll suggest it today, what do you think??“

“Eh, to those who love the taste of fresh water fish you'll love it here; the prices aren't bad either. I'd say you get your monies worth. I'm just not a fan of the taste of what I had. But overall rate them 8/10 oh and it's not a drive-thru type of place if you're in a hurry.“

“The individuals taking our order were very polite. We were allowed to dine-in although the outside signage did not indicate it was allowed. The food was plentiful for the price and had a very nice flavor. Good place for a quick tasty meal especially for travelers as we were.“

“My first visit in quite a while. I'm glad to report that it is still as good as ever. A bit crowded and noisy, but in the best restaurant in Jackson, crowds should be expected. They have a big and skilled waitstaff, so service was fast and pleasant.
I had the daily special, the catfish plate, which was excellent and a real bargain. A most pleasant experience.“
