“We wanted catfish and we got the best tasting catfish we’ve tried here at Harvey’s! The fried green tomatoes were delicious along with the fish puppies and okra! Definitely a place to stop in for some great home cooked food! Staff was friendly and welcoming!“

“Very good food and the dessert with the blueberry mouse and cookie butter ice cream was a special. It was amazing! The red beans and rice was delicious. The A’Ha Fried Rice was an amazing combo of Asian flavor and Cajun seasonings! The swamp platter was good as well.“

“I absolutely love Valley St Fish, when I have a fish craving this is my go to place. The only thing I dislike is that this place has probably been in business since before I was born and they have don’t no upgrades to the building or parking. You would think with all these centuries of being in business they would make some improvements to the place. You also have to have life insurance to park and cross the street to get to the building as traffic is horrendous. Other than this it’s the best fish place in the city.“

“We brought friends with us who live on the MS Gulf Coast. They loved it too.
We had been to the one in Florence several times before this one opened in Brandon.
We’ve always been very happy with the food and especially the service.
Boiled, fried, blackened and otherwise—all very good.

“First time eating here. We didn't have to wait for a table. The waitress was AWESOME, hope she's there when I go back. The food, atmosphere, and the service gets a two thumbs up. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Nice portions guaranteed to get you full!!!!! Th3 service was good from the time we walked through the door, til the time we walked out!!!!! “Found it on the soul food buffet list last year for our women retreat group on our way back home to Columbus , Ms n it was great did not disappoint and the sweet tea tastes just like my godmother used to make it brought back memories setting on the carport drinking Mamma B sweet tea.And it would be gone before you know it and you want more n this year I'm glad to say I'm going back“
