“Been here twice now and always enjoy their food. It's in the historic district downtown and on the river, so the wait is a minimum of 20-30 mins if you arrive early. I find the prices about average for a touristy place. The shrimp meal was $23. I'd definitely go again, but should probably spread the love to other options as well.“
“The Anchuca Historic Mansion and Inn is as beautiful as it is interesting. The interior decor is lovely and the guest rooms are grand. This is a really nice place to stay and the restaurant is first class. The owners are very friendly as are the entire staff. “We wanted a nice dining experience for the evening and the Restaurant Anchuca certainly delivered. The place and grounds are lovely. The staff are all very nice and the service is attentive. “Tourists stopping in our first time based on other reviews. Not sure why, but food took quite a while to come out even though there were only 2-3 other parties there at the time. Appears they do quite a carryout business. Crawdad burger was OK with just a few crawdads on the burger. The crawdad cheese fries were decadent and way too heavy for us but likely loved by many. I wanted the food to be better than it was but I would return to try other things to be fair.Atmosphere was scant and very basic but it's about the food, right?!“
“I am well please with The Gumbo Pot catering. They catered a business function for me and DID NOT MISS!!! Everyone loved everything from the steaks to the white chocolate bread pudding!! Both the food and service were absolutely amazing. The owner had great communication prior to the event and perform a post event follow-up. That type or engagement doesn't happen often and for that not only do I highly recommend this establishment but I will also be back!“

“Yah baby. I had a local tell me this place has been around 67 years. I thought why not? After a day at the military park I was hungry ! Man the Beechwood Classic hit the spot. The steak was perfectly cooked. Melted in my mouth and their au jus is fantastic. Large fried shrimp and a nice hot bun. I punished myself the white chocolate bread pudding. This is a local gem !“
