“We stayed for three nights in the Davis suite. Very plush and totally over the top comfortable. We had a great time staying in this historic mansion and was able to tour the memorials and museums related to the Battle of Vicksburg. We love the city and hopefully will comeback next year.“

“Our first time in Vicksburg and chose Anchuca for dinner. It was an extremely lovely experience from beginning to end. Our waiter Vickie treated us so well!! The food was excellent and very well prepared. We had the spicy shrimp appetizer, asparagus bisque, and seafood gumbo. Fabulous!!! Our entrees were chicken picatta, shrimp and grits, and lamb chops. All were perfectly prepared and tasty!! Before and after the dinner we toured the men's and women's parlors, the main dining room and the library ( where we ate). It is all beautifully decorated with great history. We live in Natchez and understand the importance of restoration of historical homes and really appreciated all of it. Our friend visiting from Washington DC, loved the experience!! We will keep you in mind for future visits and will recommend it to friends. Thank you!!“

“I hear it’s closing? Oh my lord. My son get my BDay dinner there since my 30s 68 now. Love the rib eye and fried shrimp. Well February my bd have to fix my self. Hope the best if closing. Had the time of my life there when younger. Best food was allways in that area.“

“Quality food experience. Sorry the chef was out, but everyone needs a day off. Food was excellently prepared. Don't be afraid of blackened green beans. They r just right. Friendly service, well balanced wine selection and fun draft beer options . The view cannot be beat. Free street parking. A few steps to get in vestibule and take elevator to the Roof. Plenty of space around tables. Highly recommend. Closed Monday.“

“From the second you walk up the steps, you know it's going to be good. It's in an old manor house. Xavier was our waiter and he was phenomenal!!! My husband got sweet tea and said it would have made my Georgia dad proud. The chicken fried steak was sublime. The biscuits and cornbread were touched by angels. I don't know how they made their mashed potatoes so creamy but give me all of them. The macaroni and cheese was clearly scratch made. I had one of the specials of the day and it was beef tips and rice. I died and went to southern cooking heaven. The black eyed peas and green beans I got with it were the perfect compliment. Your daily special also comes with peach cobbler. Y'all... This was touched by the baby Jesus himself. Holy moly. It was divine. The cakes and pies looked so good too, but we were too full to eat it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because we will be back. It's a 5 hour drive from Dallas and worth every single mile.“
