Friendly service, well balanced wine selection and fun draft beer options . The view cannot be beat. Free street parking. A few steps to get in vestibule and take elevator to the Roof. Plenty of space around tables. Highly recommend. Closed Monday.”

“We stayed for three nights in the Davis suite. Very plush and totally over the top comfortable. We had a great time staying in this historic mansion and was able to tour the memorials and museums related to the Battle of Vicksburg. We love the city and hopefully will comeback next year.”

“Very cool old mansion. Small restaurant though. My shrimp and grits may have been the best I’ve had. $35, so not cheap. Very good Old Fashioned for 14$. My wife got the Gumbo which was good but she wished she got my shrimp. 😊”

“From the second you walk up the steps, you know it's going to be good. It's in an old manor house. Xavier was our waiter and he was phenomenal!!! My husband got sweet tea and said it would have made my Georgia dad proud. The chicken fried steak was sublime. The biscuits and cornbread were touched by angels. I don't know how they made their mashed potatoes so creamy but give me all of them. The macaroni and cheese was clearly scratch made. I had one of the specials of the day and it was beef tips and rice. I died and went to southern cooking heaven. The black eyed peas and green beans I got with it were the perfect compliment. Your daily special also comes with peach cobbler. Y'all... This was touched by the baby Jesus himself. Holy moly. It was divine. The cakes and pies looked so good too, but we were too full to eat it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because we will be back. It's a 5 hour drive from Dallas and worth every single mile.”

“my wife and I went for a dinner date. It was my first visit. the fried mushrooms were excellent, but the steak... we both got filets and they were amazing. One of, if not, the BEST steaks I've ever had. They were thick, juicy, flavorful, tender and cooked PERFECTLY (medium rare). We will definitely be back. highly recommend.”

“I forgot to take pictures of our food, I wish I had because the presentation was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the Grilled Salmon. It came with a medley of vegetables and some rice noodles with a tasty sauce and an eggroll. My husband had the Szechuan Beef and peppers. It came with rice and was very good. The chef came over to see how everything was and to offer us a taste of his lamb chops. They were amazing. Another fun part of the restaurant was this fun little robot that delivered the food to our table. I’ve never seen that before. They should have more signs up in the casino cause we never knew this was down here. I’m glad we came.”

“We were on vacation from Texas and did the ol' Google search for a bite to eat. In my opinion it's hard to find good tamales made the way I like. They were perfect! I loved them so much that I'll be having some shipped soon. Reading the history on the walls as well as talking to the relative was a plus!”

“OMG! We got so lucky finding this place. Stopped on the way back home in Fayetteville from Baton Rouge. I'm a native New Orleanian and have had my share of poboys good and awful. Mon Cheris I am telling you right now, theirs have to be one of the best we've ever had. I got shrimp and my husband got oyster- sandwiches each a foot long with so much seafood they were falling out. Based on this experience alone on a 1 to 10 scale my husband and I both give it a 12! No regrets!”

Milkshakes, frozen custards, Italian ices, banana splits, and a ton of other items are on their menu. You don’t find this combination of flavors, toppings, and love at just any store. You cannot go wrong with any menu choice.”

“New to Vicksburg, two locals referred us to this restaurant. Friday lunch time. Ordered a medium deluxe and a small cheese pizza. The deluxe had lots of fresh toppings. Granddaughter gave the cheese pizza a 10 out of 10. Self serve Pepsi products and tea. We prefer our crusts baked a little longer, however, the pizza was tasty. The seating was basic.”

“A-1 Rating as far as I am concerned. I had the opportunity to meet the GM Mr. McClendon who I am very impressed with. This gentleman continuously worked behind the register taking orders, cleaning up on the floor and it seemed as if he was preparing food. He is very professional, cordial and welcoming which is cause for return visits. The building was extremely clean, Staff for the most part was very nice and the food was outstanding! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone that I can. This gentleman and restaurant deserve KUDOS!! OUTSTANDING JOB!!”

I will also try another side. The macaroni was ok. The garlic spinach was ok too. Prices were fair. I will return. It's probably better to call ahead because it took a little while for them to complete my order. Over all it was good and worth the wait.”

“This place is better after the shutdown. We came around 6 ish & the food was very fresh. I loved how there was an aquarium fish tank.. I've never noticed it before if it's always been there. The frog legs were very delicious. I loved the Coconut cake for dessert. It is your typical Buffet, but it is delicious!”
