Best Southern Food. I have lived in the south for 52 years. We were passing through Vicksburg headed to New Orleans and decided to check out this historical restaurant. Best plate of southern food I have EVER had. Must haves: sweet tea, mashed potatoes and gravy, greens and dessert. Everything we had was delicious but those were definitely stand outs. 5 stars all the way! This is my favorite place to eat in Vicksburg. The staff is very friendly and just a pleasure. Love the food! It’s a regular stop for us when we’re in town visiting.

Great restaurant in a beautiful older home. The service was amazing, there were smiles all across the restaurant. The food was great typical southern food with rotating specials available too. A big list of dessert cakes and pies to choose from, I couldn't pick just 1 and brought 4 home with me.
