We happened to drive by and see the BBQ grill out front and a gentleman turning ribs! We stopped in a glad we did. We truly felt the southern hospitality and enjoyed the blue plate special of ribs, and chicken. The pork n beans were wonderful w/ meat in the mix. the mustard potato salad was great as well. Not a fancy place but friendly and tasty food worth trying.

Looking for a home cooked meal/restaurant while passing through Vicksburg Mississippi and came across this gem. Almost missed it because restaurant sign next to road is only on one side, the side NOT facing me as I drove by, lol. No frill small hangout for the locals living around there, so don't expect curtains or any decorations on wall. Meal was served on a Styrofoam plate with plastic ware BUT THE FOOD was to die for.
