YES! This is the place for lunch! On a road trip through Vicksburg, had seen this place recommended. Not much to look at on the outside but the full parking lot was a good indication. Amazing! I was passing through Vicksburg and happened up on this gem. Today was "pork chop day". I chose rice/gravy and field peas as my sides. As an added surprise my server stopped my table with cheesecake. The food was delicious - every bit of it. The service was quick and oh so friendly. I'll be back!!

We stopped here on the way back from NOLA. It did not disappoint. This was food like my Granny used to make. The ladies working were very nice. I would definitely stop here again. Come for the food, stay for the conversation. This is a true southern comfort food gathering place.
