Real sweet and nice to us, even if we were from the north ;) .Not much you can say to this. Great chili cheese dogs with homemade chili. Like I say, the chili I've had down here is what 80% of us make. And while I feel cincinatti chili is best on a chili dog, these were good.The chili cheese fries were good as well, but if I was just getting the fries? I'd probably pass. I think the fries are a little too narrow for chili cheese.If I am back this way, i will get the cheeseburger next time. They make them fresh there.If you go? “Great two days in Vicksburg. Was looking for a dog before heading to Natchez. Hot Dog Man did not disappoint. Two, loaded, chili dogs, Fritos and a Diet Dr Pepper....limited seating and lots of carry out going on....seems like a "go to" place for a quick lunch...“
“Nice little lunch here. We tried various hot dogs with various toppings as combos with chips and a drink. All of which were good. We got the boudain on a bun. We also got the red beans and rice. (Which was great, FYI it has some meat in it). One disappointing order was the chicken sandwich without the bun, they didn’t have any lettuce and the chicken was a little tough. But overall we had a nice experience here and the prices are more than reasonable. We would recommend this place if you are looking for a no frills quick meal.“

I didn't know how much or a role tamales played in this part of the south. But here they are.What to get? It's in the name... Tamales. I got the fiesta which is like a trash can lid of tamales. For $8.50??? I'll do that again and again. Nothing super special about the tamales, other than they are tamales and tamales are good.Their chili is homemade. I think the way 80% of America makes their chili. It's good. Again, nothing that stands out, but good home style food.When I was there, it filled up with locals pretty quickly. The inside is pretty small, and it's been there since '37? I can believe it. If you are in Vicksburg? Go. You'll enjoy.“
